Lost and confused,
With nowhere to go.
And nobody sees
The pain I'm in.

I'm invisible like the Cheshire Cat,
All they can see is my smile.
It's so bright, it's blinds them
To the pain in my eyes.
**
If I scent danger,
I vanish without a trace.
All they see is my smile,
Slowly fading from sight.
**
I'm the Cheshire Cat,
I can both heal and destroy.
I betrayed my queen,
And she demanded my head.
**
But I just vanished,
Like smoke in the night.
And I've been on the run ever since,
Never looking back.
**
They can't hurt me
if they can't see me,
That is what I tell myself,
When ever the loneliness sets in.
**
I don't need to run,
Because no one knows
enough to harm me
Or make me do their will.
**
I guess it's sad that
this doesn't bother me at all.
By in the end, it's neccissary
That I be a Cheshire Cat.
