Kanina pa kami dito sa parking lot kung saan gaganapin ang reception.
I'm still contimplating whether to attend or just go home. Tahimik naman si Caleb sa tabi ko.
I took a deep sigh and make up my mind.
"Caleb..." I called him from the driver's seat.
"Hmm? Have you decided?" he asked softly.
"I want to go home." after I said that ay syang pagtunog ng cellphone ko.
I pursed my lips nang makita ko kung sino ang caller. Kinakabahang tumingin ako kay Caleb na syang nakatingin din sakin.
"Hello, Tita Rian." I answered.
"Hi, Grace! Where are you? I saw you earlier in the church. I couldn't find you anywhere in the venue, I want to see you."
"Uhm," I looked at Caleb, and he gave an understanding smile.
"Whatever you decided I'll support you." he whispered.
Tinitigan ko sya ng ilang segundo bago ako nagsalita.
"Pababa pa lang po kami ng sasakyan. May dinaanan pa po kasi kami kaya hindi kami agad nakadating." I lied.
"Okay, I'll wait for you inside." she hung up.
I sighed at bumaling kay Caleb. He's looking at me softly while waiting sa kung ano ang sasabihin ko.
"Let's go inside?" I smile a little. He nodded and inabot ang kamay ko to squeezed it lightly bago bitawan saka bumaba ng sasakyan.
He opened the door for me, agad ko na mang tinanggap ang kamay nyang nakalahad pagkababa ko. He lockeed the car bago kami nagtungo sa entrance ng reception. Nang malapit na kami sa entrance ay binitawan nya ang aking kamay instead he sneaked his arms on my waist and move me closer to him.
The guard greeted us and checked our invitation before letting us go inside. Nang makapasok kami ay isang malumanay na musika ang syang sumalubong samin. I saw the newly wed dancing in the middle, it's starting na pala. Caleb led me to an empty table and help me to seat.
"Thank you," I whisper to him.
"Anything for you." He answered and smile at naupo sa tabi ko. "What do you want to eat?"
"Later. Let's watched the program first." I said and tumingin sa harapan.
"Bawal kang malipasan ng gutom. You need to eat already."
"I know... but-"
"Grace," he holds my hand na nasa ibabaw ng mesa kaya napatingin ako sa kanya. "Don't be stubborn, please. You need to eat." matagal ko syang tinitigan. Napakagat ako ng ibaba kong labi bago tumango.
"Okay." mahinang saad ko. Napangiti naman sya.
"So, what you and this little one wants to eat?"
Pinakiramdaman ko ang aking sarili if I want omething to eat but I gues this time my baby isn't picky.
"Anything but I want strewberry ice cream as a dessert." I smile cutely at him. He chuckled and caress my face before going to the buffet table. Palihim akong napangit habang pinagmamasdan ang kanyang likod.
I touch my baby bump. Baby, we are lucky to have him taking care of us.
Nagbalik na ang tingin ko sa unahan at pinanood ang masayang ngiting nakapaskil sa mukha ng bagong kasal as they dance to the rhythm of the song. Hindi ko maiwasang mapangiti na lang din. Everyone has been cheering for them as they make noise from their glass and spoon. It's a sign of request from the guest for them to kiss.
