Elijah - Jealous Moment

Request from @jjrp-obsessed67 on Tumblr. Fluffy Elijah. Hayley gets jealous that the reader is dating him and she tries to hurt her but he steps in and saves the reader.

My bedroom door bursts open making me jump awake and see a angry Hayley. It's been a month since she sent Hope away with Rebekah along with her becoming a hybrid. Now I'm the only living human in the Mikaelson compound. A week ago Elijah had asked me out on a date and apparently she's still not okay with it. "Why on earth would he choose you, Y/n. You're a weak human!"

Swinging my legs off my bed I get to my feet speaking softly to get her to calm down. "Hayley calm down. It's me Y/n. We're friends-" She stomps up to me showing the golden eyes that I've seen on Klaus. She grabs my arm throwing me against the wall. I groan seeing red blood coming from my elbow. She vamps to grab me again and I clutch my eyes closed. She hasn't learned to control her desire for blood yet.

"Handle her Niklaus." Elijah's voice spoke but I don't dare open my eyes until I feel his hands cup my face whispering. "Y/n dear. It's me open your eyes." Slowly I do as he says. His delicate eyes holding worry at seeing me hurt. He bites into his wrist holding it out to me trying to get my wound gone quickly before he would lose control. "Drink. It'll help."

Taking his wrist in my hands I drink a little, trying to not gag at the bitter taste of blood. Once I release his wrist I watch the cut heal sighing in relief. He gently takes my hands in his helping me to my feet so I can lay down in my bed. He starts to leave the room but I call out softly. "Elijah..." He glanced over his shoulder at me.

"Yes Y/n?" Moving the covers aside I ask with a smile. "Can you stay with me?" He smiles walking over and climbing into bed and I snuggle into his embrace. "Thank you Elijah...don't be too hard on Hayley. I know she's missing Hope."

He plants a kiss to my forehead whispering into my hair. "Don't worry. I'll make sure Niklaus doesn't do anything too cruel." A yawn leaves my lips when I close my eyes getting quite comfortable in his embrace. "I love you, Elijah Mikaelson."

"I love you too, Y/n L/n." Resting his head ontop of mine he mumbles before going to sleep himself for a few hours. "I'll always protect you. Always and forever."
