Elijah - Badass Witch

Request from @sessa23 on Tumblr. The reader is kidnapped by other witches to draw Elijah out. All Mikaelson siblings come to save you. But you manage to save yourself by finally using your powers for the first time.

New Orleans is a dangerous place and you have to watch your back. Apparently I didn't do a very good job of it when I end chained in the cemetery with a coven of witches surrounding me. "What do you want from me?" I asked seeing one of them pull out the white oak stake. How the hell did they get that. "Simply using you as bait to draw out Elijah Mikaelson. We'll draw out each one with the thing they love the most." The head leader spoke tilting my chin up with the stake tip.

"For that to work I'm afraid you'd have to find what we all love." I hear Klaus's voice boom through the buildings. "Witches always having to make a mess of things." A smirk on his face when Rebekah vamps to his side finally Elijah joins them in the middle. "Let her go she has done nothing to you." Elijah tries to convince them as all eyes are on the Original family. The head witch raises her hand causing pain to shoot through my body. "Alright let's finish this." Rebekah shows her fangs vamping forward and killing two.

Klaus revealed his hybrid faces fighting the half in the back. The head witch let's me go heading for Elijah and I gasped fighting against my restraints. Ugh I need to get out of these things. Even though I was born with powers I've never used them. Too afraid I'd hurt someone I love by using them. But my eyes catch something that angers me so much my eyes turn Scarlett. The head witch holds the tip of the stake near Elijah's heart. He doesn't deserve to die.

Closing my eyes I snapped the chains easily getting to my feet. Throwing my hands out towards the pair I snatch the woman by her neck dragging her to me. She dropped the white oak clawing at her neck for breath as I stared down at her. "You don't deserve to have magic. Witches are supposed to help people. But if you're willing to kill everyone you don't like. You don't deserve your powers." I snarled snapping her neck with the flick of my left wrist.

"Eli - Elijah..." I trailed off stumbling on my feet. My body slowly shuts down from using my powers for the first time. He vamps to catch my body in his arms seeing my eyes roll in the back of my head collapsing. "Y/n, I'm here. I'm here because of you." He whispered carrying me bridal style. Klaus picked up the white oak stake threatening the witches who were still alive. "Consider this a warming for the lot of you. You come for my family and we'll kill you!"

The remaining witches ran off in fear. Rebekah stepped up to the you sleeping in her brother's arms, brushing the hair from your face. "Take the sweet girl home brother. Nik and I have some bodies to burn." Elijah nods vamping you back to the compound. He lays you gently on the bed brushing your hair from your face. "I'll protect you from this day until my last." He plants a kiss to my forehead as I snore peacefully in sleep. "I love you Y/n L/n." Somehow I mumbled in my sleep making him smile. "I love you too."
