Another request from the-big-bad-klaus on Tumblr. Klaus x Reader imagine where the reader is a werewolf. Klaus and the reader are in a relationship. And it is the Reader's 18th birthday so Klaus and the Mikaelsons throw a surprise party

Today was the day I have been waiting for since I turned sixteen, my eighteenth birthday. Even though I can't drink yet I still know I can have fun becoming an adult. My friends are worried about me being around the Mikaelson's. But I don't care because Klaus has told me that he'll always protect me. Today my Mystic Falls friends are trying to plan how to protect Elena. Am I mad that they didn't mention its my birthday a little bit yes. I care about Elena but not as much as Caroline and Bonnie do. I'd never tell them that even though they don't agree with me dating Klaus.

Somebody knocked on my front door so I paused the TV going to answer the door to see Klaus leaning in my doorway with a smile on his face. "Hello my birthday queen." He greeted making me smile at his nickname. "Hi Nik." I slowly breathed out watching him step into my house wrapping his arms around my waist hugging me. He whispers into my hair pulling away to see something in my eyes. "No tears tonight love. I have something that will fix all that." Raising a brow I started to ask before he leads me outside vamping me his compound covering my eyes when we're at the front door.

Entering the house he removed his hands from my eyes so I could see the rest of the Mikaelson's siblings yell suprise at me. Rebekah comes up first handing me a drink holding her own in her hands. "I know you can't drink but one won't kill you in a house full of original vampires." I took a drink at the same time she did nearly gaging at the taste where she replied. "Don't worry I'll save some wine for when you're twenty one girlfriend." Elijah hugs me handing me a medium sized box that I opened seeing a scrapbook and some pictures I'd taken with them. "I thought it would be a good start. You make Niklaus very happy."

I smiled thanking him with a hug before Kol runs up picking me up and twirling me around where I giggled until he sat me down, handing me two tickets to a baseball game. "I thought we could try and get you to catch a homeroom darling." Hands resting on my hips turning me around to face my boyfriend. He reached into his pocket dropping down on one knee making me gasp. "Y/n, I know you're friends don't approve us but my family does. I told them I wanted to make this birthday super special for you. And I understand if you're not ready to become a Mikaelson yet. So in the future will you marry me Y/n L/n?" He opened a box showing a golden engagement ring out for me. "Yes, yes, yes thank you. Thank you for the best birthday ever Nik." I jump up into his arms once he slips the ring on twirling me around with a grin on his face.
