My eyes shoot open and I shot up in my bed flickering my eyes around the room at a faster than I used too. A couple car alarms go off but it feels like a thousand knives scratching me. Jumping from the bed I feel hunger burning in the back of my throat. What the hell happened to me. I'm good with controlling my werewolf hunger but this is different. A baby's cry booms through the house before I see flashes of me on a bed screaming among other things. "Bridget I - I can't do this. Urrg I can’t....!" I cry out feeling painful contractions take over my whole body as she prepares to help me deliver this baby, Klaus Mikaelson's baby. Hours of pushing a baby's cry is heard letting me throw my head back onto the pillow. "It's a girl Y/n, she's beautiful. Y/n, no, no stay awake...you have to stay awake!" Bridget cried out grabbing a red vile from my bag shoving it down my throat before I passed out.

I died...I died birthing my daughter. The bedroom door opened for Bridget my witch best friend to enter the room holding my baby in her arms. "Good you're awake. I haven't named her yet. I thought that was up to you as her mother." I slowly take her into my arms feeling the hunger grow, my ears picking up her tiny heartbeat where I have to bite my lip to not try to not hurt her. "Bridge I - uh I can't be near either of you right now. I can't control this blood hunger..." She picks her up from my arms asking for the man himself to come help me. "Should I call Nik. He could help you out?" Whipping my head around I bare my teeth snarling in her face at mentioning his name. "No, don't call Klaus!"

Plopping down on the bed again I grab my phone I scroll through pictures finding my favorite picture of Klaus and I in the woods during my first full moon turning, he was there through it all and even turned with me that night so I wasn't alone during the horrible pain. "Y/n, let's talk about this love." He tried after I finished throwing up in the bathroom leaning my back against the wall. Clutching my hands into fists I growl up at the hybrid. "No Nik. I can't have this baby with you. Not while you're father is alive running around New Orleans trying to kill you." Grabbing my stuff I storm out before he could say a word to me, knowing if I stared into those blue eyes of his I'd never leave him.

One year later
The doorbell rings as I'm feeding my daughter who I named Kenzie. Bridget comes into the kitchen telling me. "Someone's at the door for you." Lifting my head I try and hear if they say anything but I get nothing so I sit the spoon down heading for the front door. I try slamming it closed the second I see his face but he stops it with his foot pushing it open with his right hand. "Hello loving wolf. I've been having Fryea track you for over a year. I'd like to see our child if that's alright." Rolling my eyes I scoff in his face. "How many ways must I say I don't want you in this child's life. I'm tired of running for my life Nik. I won't make our daughter have to do the same thing!" Yes I love the hybrid but ever since I met him I had to hide away all the time and I died giving birth to his child. It's his fault I couldn't be around my daughter for almost a whole year because all I could think about was draining her of blood.

Turning on my heels I started to leave but he vamps inside the house trapping me between the wall and his chest. His hands holding my wrists above my head with our noses touching one another. Being around him a new desire wants to take over. One where I kiss the hell out of him that would lead to us in my bed again. "Klaus let me go. Urg get away from me. I don't love you anymore!" I grunt trying to break from his hold but he's stronger than I am. "Don't lie to me Y/n. I can see it in your eyes...just listen to me all I'm asking is to see her." My gaze locks onto his but as I'm about to respond back Bridget comes around the corner holding Kenzie in her arms, haulting in her tracks at see our position.

"Y/n is this our child...our daughter?" Klaus takes some steps forward slowly towards Bridget who eyes me and I slowly nodded my head. She placed Kenzie in his arms and instantly I see a glow in those hybrid eyes of his. Seeing him holding our child in his arms warms my heart and I feel tears welling in my eyes at the sight. "Nik, you...you can stay." I mumbled out knowing he'd hear me turning around still holding our child. He gives her to Bridget so he can walk up to me cupping my face in his hands, brushing his thumbs over my cheeks. "Micheal is dead my love. We won't have to run from him ever again. But I promise you if anyone tries to hurt you or our daughter I'll hunt them down. I love you." Reaching up on my tippy toes I wrap my arms around his neck kissing him after all these years apart. He instantly kissed back wrapping his arms around my waist, lifting me up by my legs. "If you're excuse us Bridget. We have some lost time to make up for." He smirked at my friend vamping us up and into my bedroom never breaking our next rounds of kissing.
