Kol - Compelling Darling

Request from @sessa23 on Tumblr. The reader knows about the cure but Kol doesn't want her involved. So he kidnapped her and waits until the vervain is out of her system.

Klaus had called me saying Silas had gotten inside his head. Meaning he could appear as anyone we know. None of my friends know about this which is why I'm running to the Salvatore house until arms wrap around me making me scream. "Let me go Silas, let me go!" Hands spun me around to face Kol or at least that's who he seems to be. "I'm not Silas, darling." He pulls out a sleep dart injecting it into my neck catching me bridal style as I fall. "Sorry Y/n but I can't have you involved." He whispered when my eyes fall closed.

Groaning deeply my eyes blink open squinting at the sunlight streaming from the curtains. Shifting upward I feel my fingers brush over the softness of bed sheets. "Where am I?" I mumbled to myself hearing footsteps enter the room. "My family's compound Y/n." Kol spoke standing at the foot of the bed. "You know if you wanted to talk to me you didn't have to knock me." I snap crossing my arms over my chest. He takes a seat at my feet stating into my eyes. "I didn't bring you here to talk sweetie."

"You're going to compel me once the vervain is gone." I put the pieces together making him smirk a reply. "Pretty and smart all in one." I bite my tongue trying to hide a blush coming on. I've been telling myself ever since the Mikaelson's came to Mystic Falls that I don't love him. The Original vampire family is crazy and dangerous. Klaus fancies Caroline, Rebekah likes Matt and then there's me. But I'd rather run away from him than let myself embrace what I feel for him.

Kol stares at you longley. Wanting to kiss you more than compel you or drain you of blood. The Original vampire fell for you very quickly just seeing you for the first time at his family's ball was enough. Normally he didn't care about a human's life until it came to you. That's the reason he kidnapped you off the street to protect you from Silas. He wasn't concerned with the information you knew he was more concerned with what could happen to you. Kol Mikaelson was head over heels in love with you.

Suddenly Klaus vamped into the room angrily growling to his brother. "What the hell is she doing here. I sent her to deliver a message to the Salvatore brothers!" Kol got to his feet trying to fight the hybrid. "She can't be out there on her own. I love her brother!" Klaus eyes me then his brother running a frustrated hand through his locks, pointing towards the door. "Fine then take her to them to make sure she's protected!" He vamps out of the room once I climb out of the bed feeling my heartbeat picking up. He loves me.

"Kol..." I stuttered out making him look at me his eyes softened. He holds out a hand for me and I hesitantly put my hand in his. "Let's get you to the Salvatore brothers darling." I stiffen still concerned he'll compel me to forget. He brushes hair behind my ear lightly smiling. "Don't worry Y/n I won't compel you. I love you too much to go through with it." He vamps us to the house raising my hand in his to my lips kissing it. "Until next time sweetheart." After that he's gone leaving me with my thoughts. Curse you charming Mikaelson's.
