The reader and Elijah have a secret relationship because Klaus also likes her.

Sorry this is so short. My college math class is giving me a lot of assignments this week. Hope you like it.

Secret relationship, that's what my relationship is with the one and only Elijah Mikaelson. Why is it a secret you may ask, because his brother Klaus also has feelings for me. Don't get me wrong the hybrids attractive with a cute accent and is a badass at taking crap from people. But Elijah is more suttle when he kills and doesn't spill as much blood. "How long do we have this time?" I question laying my head on his chest, one of his hands playing with my hair.

"Niklaus is away in the buyu causing problems with some wolves. So I'd say an hour at the latest." He explained turning to lay on his side cupping my face. Bringing my lips to his I wrap my arms around his neck deepening it. I've recently started living in the Mikaelson compound. Klaus and my lover have both said it's better for my protection. Elijah breaks the kiss starting deeply into my eyes vowing. "I love you Y/n."

Resting my freehand to his cheek I replied back. "I love you too Elijah." Laying my head back on his chest we both cuddled up with each other. It has become our favorite way to be around each other. A way he knows I'm safe and loved. It still seems crazy that a human like me and a Original vampire would actually work in the crazy place that is New Orleans. Somehow through all their families problems we've managed to find a way to be together.

"Elijah, I want to take Y/n out for a drink tonight!" Klaus's voice shoots me awake. Elijah vamps his suit jacket back on eyeing me. "Go out the window back to your room." I whispered trying to make it where he couldn't hear me. He plants a kiss to my forehead before vamping off. "Don't lead him on too much, sweetie." Resting my chin on the palm of my hand I see him enter his room smiling. "Only a little flirting to keep up the game, mr. Mikealson."
