On Monday morning, Jay seemed awfully quiet as we got ready for school. He had his mind blocked so I wasn't sure if the silence was good or bad.

We got to school and we could feel the tension hanging in the air. The source of the tension was coming off the wolves in waves so thick that a human could hardly breath.

But past all the anger I could sense the vampires having a party despite them losing a vampire since I came along.

We were at the school gate when I stopped and turned to Jay.

"You know what. Screw it. Lets go," I said and started tugging him away from the school.

He stopped us. "What are you talking about Ren?"

"I'm saying we leave the school. Besides the fact we're not welcome anymore, I reckon we just leave."

We glanced at the werewolves who stood there glaring at us, faces fierce, fists clenched.

"Your not scared are you?" He teased.

I elbowed him in the stomach with my full strength and watched him drop on his knees, clutching his stomach.

"I could kill them all in seconds. I just have no need to be here anymore. I did my job and now I can leave. Also werewolves become overly attached to people and it gets annoying. So lets go," I said quickly.

Jay nodded without a second thought. "We'll go but can I say goodbye first?" He asked and I knew he meant the vampires.

"Let's go find them before the bell goes and we're sucked into doing classes."

We headed to a shaded part of the main courtyard where everyone was before class and found the vampires sitting on seats talking quietly.

We walked up to them and they looked up at us as we approached.

"You've come back to us Jay?" Regan asked hopefully.

Jay shook his head. "No. I'm actually here to say goodbye."

"What!? You can't leave! Your meant to be with us!" One of them burst out.

"What happened to vampires first, others last?" Another asked.

I put my hand on Jay's elbow and took a breath, making a decision I hoped I wouldn't regret.

"Jay, tell them what you are then we'll leave straight away."

"He's a vampire! What else would he be?!" The first talker asked.

I watched Regans face as he connected the dots for what little evidence he had and leapt at me.

I dodged quickly, also letting go of Jay so I didn't pull him into the fight.

"How dare you disgrace vampires. You destroyed one of our own and it sickens me," Regan said disgustingly.

I couldn't help but feel slightly smug.

"What happened to him then Regan?" I whispered in his ear seductively.

He shuddered and I smiled knowing no one could refuse an Immortal who was being seductive.

"You can't say that you wouldn't like being one of us." I fanned my breath across his neck.

He seemed frozen, in a good way, by my actions and was eyeing me up and down.

I stepped back to Jay, who protectively wrapped his arms around my waist, and smiled at the vampire.

Regan eventually came back to the real world and glared at me.

"I hate you," he spat.

"That's not what your body was saying seconds ago," I have him a demure smile.
