Our farewells to Lucille were quickly done but she looked troubled. She had shooed us off and told us that we should go visit someone we both knew. We did.

We transported back to the town where I first met Jay and stood in the middle of a lonely street at night time.

"So, we're here because Lucille said to come here?" Jay asked.

I nodded. "Yeah. Don't know why though. Maybe someone here has something for us?"

"Possibly."

I gathered darkness around me and Jay and shaped them into cloaks then we both pulled the hoodie part up.

We took a couple of steps before I felt eyes on me.

Jay, don't suddenly move, I said to him telepathically.

He didn't react so I knew he listened.

We took a few more steps then I made a cage around the stalker appear. We turned back around and faced our follower.

"Should've known," Regan muttered.

The bars disappeared and we met face to face.

"Nice to see you again," I said in false pleasantries.

He scoffed. "Right. You guys shouldn't be here. The wolves still want your blood."

I rolled my eyes. "I can wipe out the pack here easily," I said.

Regan snapped his eyes to Jay. "Come back to the coven Jay. Everyone's bugging me about your disappearance. Don't you want to see them again?" He asked.

Jays lips tilted up. "Why would I want to see them? I've got everything I need here," he said and pulled me to him.

Regan glared at me now. "I'm sure I know what's happening but I want to hear you both say it."

I glanced up at Jay. "Sorry Jay, but Regan knows our big, dark secret. We have to tell him."

Jay shrugged. "Tell him then. He's the one who needs confirmation."

I looked Regan in the eye. "Jay is an Immortal. Part Immortal, actually."

Regans face didn't move a single muscle but he finally nodded. "I had a feeling. Thanks for letting me know."

"Aren't you meant to be upset or something because I took a vampire away from your coven?" I asked with a frown.

"Don't worry yourself with me. It's fine," he said then added with a mutter,"it does take two. One to cut, one to drink."

A sword appeared in my hand at his words and I lifted it so that it was under his chin.

"I don't know how you were able to know that but you are not to say anything to anyone," I growled and gripped the hilt tighter.

Regan glanced at the sword at his throat and nodded.

The sword disappeared and I glanced around us briefly.

"Why we have to come back, I have no idea," I mumbled.

"Maybe to make amends?" Regan suggested.

"What? With the wolves?"

He nodded. "It makes sense to do that. The wolves want blood though and the pack has been in chaos apparently," he told me with a shrug.

His words sounded different to me right then. Almost as if he was keeping something. I looked at him with a frown while also bringing down the walls in his minds barrier.
