I saw Lucas snap his eyes to the side for a second. In that second I knew what was going to happen but I didn't react. They were playing dirty but playing dirty made things interesting. What surprised me was how Lucas was restraining himself so that he didn't rush to my aid.
Smiling, I heard footsteps creep up behind me. They were silent to vampire ears, but I still heard the small sounds the air made as it was moved.
Hands grabbed me, pinning my hands behind my back then one grabbed me in a choke hold.
I smirked. "Good job Regan. Your techniques are impressive but I can feel weaknesses in your body. Plus, I think Jay might be a little pissed."
At the sound of his name, Jay stopped fighting Lucas. Lucas banged into Jay but he didn't even budge at the impact.
Jay disappeared and reappeared behind Regan, having him in a choke hold.
"Let her go now Regan," Jay said lowly.
Regan laughed, his chest rumbling. "Your supporting her. Isn't she stronger than you? She could've easily escaped."
My eyes lit up mischievously and I watched a beaten Lucas get up but try to stay far away.
"If I were you Regan, I would let go. Your dealing with me, Jay and a soon-to-be angry Lucas. Do you want to deal with the three of us?" I said calmly but added in a small laugh.
Regan glanced at Lucas then quickly let go of me. Jay let go of Regan straight away.
"All I want is Jay back. And he wants you," Regan said, gesturing to Lucas.
I smiled at the two enemies. "I have done my job. The job I came here in the first place to get," I said.
I quickly grabbed Jay's elbow with my own and teleported us before Regan or Lucas could respond.
There wasn't any sound except for Jay's breathing in the empty and abandoned warehouse we stood in.
"Are you alright Ren?" He asked.
"Course I am Reaper. Why wouldn't I be?" I asked.
Jay smirked. "You called me Reaper."
"Yep. It's your name right?" I asked.
"Yeah, but I didn't think anyone would say it so soon."
I shrugged and made clothes appear on us that was suitable for the snow.
"What's this for?" Jay asked.
"We're going on a trip. A hiking trip. And you'll also be able to learn better there."
He cocked his head to the side curiously but didn't say anything. His expression told me he wanted to know.
I rolled my eyes. "Just say it Jay."
"Where are we going?"
"It's a surprise," I said with a wink.
I grabbed his elbow and we disappeared. We reappeared seconds later in mountains that touched the sky and were covered in snow at the top, where rock touched sky.
We looked at the scenery in awe, which mostly consisted of mountain. I had put us on a flat part on the mountain where we could stay for ages.
"Himalayas, right?" Jay asked.
I nodded.
"I haven't been here in forever. Or up this high. I couldn't get this high as a vampire. Are we this high because we're Immortals?"
