Sighing, and silently questioning his motives, I felt the natural and unnatural twisting of bones, muscles and my body in general. I had to duck slightly so that my head didn't hit the roof as I grew taller. Unfortunately, I had no choice of arguing against him if he knew
After a couple of seconds of changing, it stopped and we stood there looking at each other. I looked at him in disbelief because he stood there looking at me with wonder.
"You still look beautiful Ren," he said after a few moments of silence.
I shifted around. "Why would you think this form is beautiful when I could show you so many beautiful forms?" My voice said in a raspy hiss.
He approached me and put a hand on my own massive, scaled hand.
"I don't care what form you have Renee. I still love you and your always beautiful to me."
I returned to my normal form and wrapped my arms around Jay.
Acceptance. That's what I felt. If anyone saw that they would say ugly but Jay saying beautiful made me feel accepted.
"We should probably get ready to go then," Jay said after a few minutes of me just hugging him.
I let go of him and put on a black two piece then a sundress of the same colour. A bag appeared on my shoulder. My hair fell down and I purposely made it so that it hid the mark on my neck.
"I guess we should go then," I repeated when I saw his enraptured and slightly shocked gaze.
"I've never seen you in a dress," he said looking me up and down.
I smiled slyly. "I haven't worn one in a long time."
I walked out the door with Jay following behind, never letting anyone even glance at me.
We met everyone at the exact same place as yesterday. As soon as girls saw me they gushed about how well I looked in a dress and the guys gave me lustful looks. Jay glared at them until they looked away.
Liam came up to me with a smirk on his face.
"So," he teased.
My cheeks burned slightly but I kept the blush there so it looked normal.
"It went like it was supposed to," I said.
"Looks like it went great," he said.
I raised an eyebrow.
"You might want to cover up that love bite," he whispered.
I frowned in annoyance. Stupid hair. Can't trust it to hide one simple thing.
"Yeah, I know. Thanks," I muttered and glared at a staring Jay.
I went and saved Jay from the horde of over-eager girls and dragged him away.
I grabbed a towel from the bag and passed it to Jay who placed it on the sand.
I sat down and pulled Jay with me.
"I am seriously regretting teaching you we can use magic," I said to him.
He pulled me onto his lap, wrapped his arms around my waist and brought his lips close to my ear. I could feel his smile.
"You don't regret anything Ren. Admit it," he whispered.
I turned my head slightly and said,"no."
He chuckled for a couple of seconds.
"Did you want a massage?" He asked randomly.
I grinned but didn't look at him. "Yes please."
His hands softly caressed my shoulders in circles. I hung my head while he continued. My body relaxed in a way that hadn't relaxed in such a long time.
