3rd POV

A lot of times, people seek out peace and quiet, silence, so they can take a break from their lives every now and then. But sometimes, it's that very silence that leaves you trapped in a feeling of incertitude and confusion, a state that rarely has a clearcut remedy. For one person in particular, tonight was the time to feel that pressure of peace of mind.

Although his eyes were sealed shut, his sense kept picturing a single word in his head, 'heavy'. For a few minutes, it was as if his body was unresponsive, attempting to wake up, yet unable to move even a finger. 5 years of insomnia aren't that easily shurgged off, not when you no longer have some godly regenerative abilities.

But alas, his eyes opened to reveal the weight that's been pinning the man to his bed. His joins all cracked and twisted as if to wake up themselves, aiding the boy in standing up slightly.

"...what the hell is with this slumber party...?"

He was unaware how much time has passed, nor did he have any knowledge about the outcome of his gamble

He was unaware how much time has passed, nor did he have any knowledge about the outcome of his gamble. But seeing the twins along with the little sister sound asleep next to or on top of him should be somewhat of an indicator that SOMETHING went right.

But his concerns went another direction as well. Perhaps due to the headache that took over him. It wasn't just Anna that weighed on his chest. His own body felt heavy, a sign he hasn't moved in a while, therefore some time has passed indeed.

"... where's Jason...", he mumbled, gently moving his sister to the side, leaving the bed to stretch. His leg joints cracked as well, as the boy took his first steps in a good while.

"You shouldn't move so suddenly, Leon."

"Jaso-"

"Shh. You'll wake them up."

The silver haired brother, sitting on the couch in the corner of the room was quick to silence his sibling. But he didn't look much better either. His eyes were tired, despite sleeping as well. An indicator the Chaos Form eats a lot of stamina.

"...how long was I out for?", The red headed needed to get up to date on the news quickly. To see where he stands.

"I don't know. I woke up maybe 2 to 3 hours ago myself. Tho I'd say it's been maybe a week considering how sore I am."

"That much in a single use, huh?"

The eldest had a weak smile on his face, but his sibling didn't seem to want to share it. In fact, Jason seemed remorseful more than anything.

"...the link...", he stretched his hand outward, showing a small cut he made himself on his palm.

"...Yes. Not anymore...", Leon mirrored his movements to show his palm unharmed.

After this sight, Jason's head lowered slightly. Perhaps regret, perhaps shame. He certainly wanted to ask why, but there would be little point in asking for something you already have.
