Chapter 68

With this chapter, we've hit 600k for the 4 Horsemen. I've really pulled ahead of everyone as far as dxd goes. Hey xDarkStar204, get your ass here already. I'm waiting to be dethroned.  400k more and I'll be able to delete this story...

I'm joking.... obviously. That being said, thanks for sticking around with this terrible piece of 'art' if we can call it that. Ok fine, I'll get a lot of comments that I'm putting myself down again. Don't worry, my head works fine ... For now.

Also, some of you might have noticed that I've started a lot of different stories lately. I'll try to keep up all of them, but it'll depend on how it goes with school. The year is near the end and there's a lot to do.

Leon's POV

     Ugh...I feel like I've been hit by a train. I swear Death, when I get my ha- ... Death?

Weird. I'm back in that dark abyss that the Horseman dragged me back when I lost control, except this time... he's nowhere to be seen...and I'm in chains... marvelous.

Leon:"What the fuck is going on?!"

Death:"Oh!? You woke up in there?"

Leon:"Death! You son of a-"

Death:"Yeah, she is a bitch, now shut up and listen. You're currently making a mess in this realm. Sheesh. Learn to hold back."

Leon:"That's my line, fucker. How do I regain control?"

Death:"That's what we came here to discover. Do your best. Meanwhile, I'll make sure you don't get near the Lord of Bones, he doesn't really like me, or you for that matter."

Sigh...what sin have I committed to deserve this fool...?

Leon:"Crowfather... Break that mask for me, would you? ... Crowfather?"

Death:"Don't bother. I've send him on an errand to deliver some messages for me. Now get back to work. Time may course more slowly here, but I'll get bored."

You might as well replace Death with Bruce and you wouldn't notice a difference...

Leon:"When we're back on Earth-no. Even before that, I'll make you retire from your position as 'inhabitant' of my body. One way or another."

Death:"Heh. I haven't taken an arrow to the knee."

Leon:"...yet."

Jason's POV

So far, my stay at the Gremory domain has been somewhat decent. I expected to be trapped in endless discussions about politics and supernatural, but at least I get to spend some time in silence.

Courtesy of Desmond to drive away all the people who would bother me. I swear, sometimes, this little brother is a bit too considerate.

???:"Why the long face, dear?"

Ah! I knew it! Too good to be true! The one person not even Leon can win against in mental warfare, not even Bruce...

Jason:"Whatever you might mean by that, mother."

Scarlett:"Sigh. There you go again addressing me so formally. 'Mom' is enough. You're my son."

Jason:"...yeah...but I've only started acting like one just recently..."
