Today was the first day of school for Chaeyoung, a normal nerdy girl who topped in her last grade like her sister. Yes, her sister, Son Irene, the first ever to topped the board exam from her school out of 1000 schools that took part in the exam. It was a proud moment for Chaeyoung and her family because all the hardwork that her sister had done was finally paid off.

Chaeyoung too wanted to be like her sister, she sees her as her role model.
Not only regarding studies but as a person too.

2 months back

Irene and Chaeyoung are like two souls in one body, they were inseparable, whenever Chaeyoung cried Irene will be sad too, when Chaeyoung is happy Irene is happy too.. Chaeyoung loves her sister a lot and in school too Chaeyoung will always hang out with Irene and her friends only so she never felt the need to make friends as she was very contented with her sister's presence.

However things are different now, after clearing the exams, Irene got enrolled into Harvard University. A very proud moment for everyone in the neighborhood...no one can ever imagine that the daughter of a policeman can come this far... Chaeyoung too was so happy for her sister but she was also sad because she won't get to see her sister now..

Irene noticed her sister was pouting ...she giggled at the thought of how cute her sister looked...
She kneeled down to her sister's height and said
Irene: aigoo!! My chaeng chaeng why you so sad?

Chaeyoung: chaeyoungi won't see her unnie anymore..

Irene: who said u won't see me? We may be far but you still remember what I told you last time right.. Irene and...

Chaeyoung: Chaeyoungi are one soul in two bodies and whenever one is sad the other feels sad too so we should never be sad, we should always be happy ..

Irene: then? Y r u sad? U want your unnie to study there while crying ?
You want your unnie to be sad everyday because you are sad here?

Chaeyoung: No... Chaeyoungi wants unnie to be Happy.. So Chaeyoungi won't cry and be sad

Irene was internally screaming because her sister looked so innocent and cute.

Irene: my Chaeng chaeng is the best.. while I'm away take care of omma and appa ok. Be a good girl, study well and make your unnie proud. I promise when I come back, I'll bring lots of souvenirs for you.

Chaeyoung beamed a smile.

Chaeyoung: ok unnie I'll be good girl..I want to be like Irene unnie, a good girl

Irene: good.. i love you my Chaeng chaeng and I'll miss you, appa and omma a lot

After their short conversation, Irene left for their airport..before her departure she promised Chaeyoung that she'll always call her whenever she's free and with Chaeyoung nodded and gave her unnie a big tight hug for the last time.

Present

Chaeyoung prepared for her school and came down to have her breakfast. It was Chaeyoung and her mother only as her father got posted in a different province so he won't be able to come for a month.
