Chapter 19

Author's POV:

Taehyung and Jin quickly went downstairs where they found Jungkook and Yoongi waiting for the orders.

"Yoongi get Jimin's boss Lee Young-guk's number and send it to Hoseok to track it along with other numbers. Jungkook find out all other places Lee Young-guk owns in Korea. If he is the one who has abducted Jimin, he has to be at someplace he owns. Jin and I will go to his current house, even though chances are low of finding him there", Taehyung ordered.

"Right sir!", Jungkook and Yoongi said in unison and left.

Then Taehyung turned to Jin and said, "let's go to his place, although I am sure that bastard won't be there, we can't risk to skip any place he might be". Jin nodded in agreement.

"Also until then I will also ask Hoseok to tell the surveillance team to get the footage of all the cameras near our house. Some of the cameras might have caught glimpse of Jimin leaving with someone", Jin said.

"Good. Even though Lee Young-guk is our prime suspect, we still can't eliminate the possibility of it being someone else", Taehyung said.

Jin sighed tiredly, he and Taehyung were on their way to Lee Young-guk's house.

"What happened?", Taehyung asked.

"Nothing. I was just thinking, how the victim's families must be feeling. Now that my own best friend is kidnapped, I can't really keep my worry aside even for a second, wonder how they manage to be patient as we do our investigation", Jin said.

"It takes hell lot of strength in them to put all of their trust in us and wait. I want you to also put your trust in me and on yourself. You know we will find him in no time, let's just focus and look at this case the same way we look at all the other cases and give our all", Taehyung said.

"Of course I trust you and your capabilities more than anything. It's me I am worried about. I am usually able to think rationally in such situations, but now my mind is just going blank, I don't know why", Jin said.

"It's okay. You are still staying strong and I have trust in you. You just need to calm yourself", Taehyung said while looking ahead on the road while driving.

Jin looked at him and smiled. Soon they reached to Lee Young-guk's place.

There was one guard on the gate. Taehyung and Jin went to him.

"Is Lee Young-guk here?", Taehyung asked.

"And who are you?", Guard asked back.

Taehyung rolled his eyes and showed him his badge. Guard instantly saluted him.

"Sir may I ask, why are you looking for my boss?", Guard asked.

"We just want to do some routine enquiry, nothing special", Taehyung said.

"Oh okay. But sir I am afraid you won't be able to meet him. Sir is not feeling well today, so he is in there resting. He asked me to not disturb him", guard said.

Jin scoffed, "bullshit".

"Well your boss has to wake up, because it's urgent for us to talk now", Taehyung said.
