Author's POV:

Taehyung kept glancing at Jin, who looked like he was in a deep thought during their ride back to station.

Before getting out of the car, Taehyung held Jin's hand, "Hey, is there something other than this case bothering you? You know you can talk to me, right?". Jin smiled and placed his hand on top of Taehyung's, "Yes I know. But I don't have anything else in my mind. I was just thinking about the case and the consequences Jaekyung is going to have to face because of one mistake". Taehyung sighed, "You are right, from what we heard he seemed like a nice guy. But look what he has done now. This one mistake is gonna cost him a lot". Jin nodded in agreement.

"So what did you learn from Jake?", Hyung sik asked as they entered.

"A lot. Mainly that Jaekyung had a solid motive for doing what he did. Other than that we do have one more lead", Taehyung answered. Then he looked at Jin, asking him to continue. Jin nodded, "So Jake told us that other than them, victim had a different set friends. Apparantly those friends are responsible for the way things turned out. So we were thinking about talking to them one by one. We might get a hit there", Jin said.

"You said you have a lead now you are saying you might get one. Tell me once whether you are certain that you have a lead or not", Hyung sik said. Hoseok was taken back by his words as he haven't seen him talk to anyone like this ever since he arrived.

Taehyung rolled his eyes and was about to say something when Jin came forward, "Yes sir, I am certain that we have a lead and that we are not wasting our time". Hyung sik nodded, "Fine then go ahead".

Jin turned to Taehyung, "Then captain I will go meet her friends and try to get something out of them".

"You need me to come down there with you?", Taehyung asked. "Actually officer Taehyung I have few things that I want to discuss with you", Hyung sik said before Jin could reply.

Jin shook his head, "I can go on my own. If I need anything then I will call the station". Taehyung sighed, "All right then".

"What is it now?", Taehyung asked Hyung sik as they entered inside Taehyung's cabin.

"You and him, there's something going on there right?", Hyung sik asked.

Taehyung clenched his fists, "How is that any of your business officer? And I suggest you to talk to me only when it is related to the case in hand".

"Don't worry Taehyung or captain Taehyung is it, I am not thrilled to talk to you either. But aren't you satisfied after ruining one life, that you are already on your way to ruin another. Haven't you had enough?", Hyung sik said.

Taehyung slammed his fist on table, "Get out! Get out now, I want be alone".

Hyung sik smirked, "Good to see that you are still suffering", then he left the room.

Taehyung sat down with his head in his hands. He kept one of his hand on his chest as if trying to calm himself down. Then he took out his phone, went to his gallary and opened a picture of him and a man standing together smiling. Tears started flowing from his eyes as he stared at the picture.
