Author's POV:

Taehyung and Jin were the last people to get out of their station, everyone else already left.

"So?"

"So where do you want to go?", Taehyung asked.

"Anywhere is fine, you decide", Jin said without meeting other's eyes.

"Alright so should we go to that place where we went for team dinner last time. Food over there is really good and there won't be much rush knowing that it's already late", Taehyung said.

Jin nodded and smiled. Taehyung looked at him nervously and asked, "What happened?".

Jin shook his head, "Nothing, I just imagined you to be a guy who takes his date to classy big renowned restaurants".

"Oh really? Do you want me to take you to a big restaurant?", Taehyung asked.

"To be honest, no. I am the kind of guy, who likes to go to small cozy places where one can feel comfortable rather than those big shiny places where there's no comfort. I didn't say anything earlier because I thought you might like those kind of places", Jin said.

Taehyung smiled and ruffled Jin's hair affectionately making him blush, "You are really one of a kind, aren't you?".

"That I am", Jin said proudly.

"Well let's go to our cozy place then, shall we? We can go there by walk, then later we can come and collect the car", Taehyung said. Jin nodded in agreement.

They started walking side by side without saying anything while enjoying the cold breeze on the relatively empty street. Their hands brushed with each other, making Jin shiver.

Taehyung looked at him, "Are you cold?". Jin shook his head.

"Okay still I want to keep you warm", Taehyung said while slowly interwining his hand with Jin's.

Jin looked at him with wide eyes, making Taehyung smile as he said, "You have no idea how long I have been wanting to do this".

"Really? Because it always seemed like I was the one chasing you", Jin said while pouting. Taehyung laughed, "Alright now that your chasing period is over, shall we go and get something to eat?", he said while pointing at the restaurant in front of him.

They went inside, the Ajhumma who was the owner of the place welcomed them inside.

Jin realised that they were still holding hands, so he quickly tried to untangle their hands as he saw Ajhumma watching them. But Taehyung held his hand firmly not ready to let go.

"Captain what are you doing? Ajhumma is watching us! We come here all the time with our team", Jin whispered to Taehyung while still trying to free himself.

"Today we aren't here as cops or colleagues, we are here as a couple. So let's just forget about others, okay? Also Ajhumma can keep our little secret, right Ajhumma?", Taehyung said while keeping their hands interlocked with each other.

The lady laughed and nodded, "Of course kids, don't worry. This Ajhumma will keep your secret safe".

Jin blushed. Taehyung looked at him and said, "So shall we go have a seat?". Jin nodded.
