CHAPTER NINE: blood-singer

NIKLAUS SWAN FOLLOWED ALICE CAREFULLY AND SLOWLY. He was confused as to why Alice wanted to talk to him. She opened up a door, leading him into a bedroom. "Uh...what exactly do you want to speak to me about? Here?" He awkwardly shifted, gesturing to the room.
Alice turned around with a smile, gesturing for Niklaus to sit. "I think you should sit for this. I've seen what happens."
"Um.." Klaus was confused. This was very random. He hadn't even ever had an actual conversation with the girl. She tried to convince him that he was crazy. And then, Bella came into his room late at night, saying how Edward and his family were vampires. Of course, he called his sister insane at first. But, as she started to talk, and explain, he could see why she believed that. Plus, with Alice continuing to saying that she's seen into the future, it wasn't exactly something that he could ignore or try to reason. "Yeah, okay," he sat down in the chair.
Alice smiled at him, before turning her head to the door. "Jasper, get in here." She sighed. The door opened slowly, Jasper seemingly worried. Alice skipped over to him, dragging him inside. "Klaus, we have something to explain to you. And it may be difficult to understand. You are our blood-singer."
"Blood-singer?" Niklaus asked, confused. That was extremely odd.
"Your blood draws us to you." Alice continued to explain. "But, in a different way than Edward is to Bella. You...you calm us."
Niklaus raised an eyebrow at her, gesturing to Jasper. "I calm you?" he asked, inquiring about the two vampires. After all, this is not normal. Vampires weren't supposed to be real. "How? When Edward looks-" like a drug addict in withdrawing when around Bella. "I don't understand...is it different for certain blood-singers? Or is it the vampires?"
"It's just different," Alice spoke, seeming confused. "This is the first time we've even had met two blood-singers at the same time."
"Klaus," Jasper spoke for the first time. He opened his mouth to speak again but stopped.
"Jasper, it's okay," Alice told the other vampire. "you told me you feel calm around him. You never hurt him."
"Jasper," Klaus spoke, standing up. "do you want me to leave?" He didn't want the other to be worried or nervous in his own house.
"Meet with us at lunch." Alice quickly said.
