CHAPTER THREE: The histories

NICKLAUS SWAN WALKED BY HIS SISTER'S SIDE. Jacob had taken them to the party, which seemed more like a pack gathering, or family gathering. Klaus wasn't sure what to rules and relationships was of the werewolves.
"You sure this is okay?" Bella asked. "I Really hate to bring a party crashed."
"Especially if it's limited to people of the pack. Or like, family reunion." Klaus says. "Is that how a pack works? Like, you're a family?"
"Well, first of all; technically, you're both a council meeting crashed. You see? The council leaders, Dad, Quil's grandpa and Sue Clearwater. She took over for Harry when he died." Jake explains.
"Okay, we should of be here," Bella says, taking Klaus's hand.
"You guys are okay. I thought...I mean, they thought it would be good for you to hear the histories."
"The histories?" "The histories?" Both Swan twins questioned.
"Like the tribe's histories?" Klaus asked, surprised.
"Aren't they secret?" Bella continued to question.
"We all got a role to play," Jacob answers. "and you're part of this. I mean, it's the first time Seth, Leah, and Quil'll hear them, too. But, you guys are the first outsider. Ever." They walked closer to the fire.
"If I had know that, I would have, like..." Bella pauses. "I don't know, dressed better."
"If at least have put on a better flannel. Or just a regular button-up." Nicklaus frowned at the faded flannel before sipping closed his black jacket.
"Jake!" A boy yelled, running over to him.
"Hey." Jake smiles.
"It's about time you got here. Paul's been hoovering the grub, but I saved you some burgers." The boy said.
"Good looking out, bro. Bella, Klaus, this is Seth Clearwater, Leah's brother. Newest member of the pack." Jacob introduces.
Klaus shook his hand, he was unsure if now was the right moment to how he was after Harry's death. As right know, everyone seemed excited and happy. Especially the young boy.
