NICKLAUS SWAN WAS UNSURE OF WHO WAS MORE OF A DEPRESSED, SELF-SACRIFICING IDIOT. Himself or his sister. I'm the end he had chosen to do with Bella, as he was willing to call himself an extremely over-protective, depressed-according to his father and everyone else-idiot.
Bella had gone with a stranger. But Klaus couldn't leave Jessica alone.
"Anyone ever tell you that you're a pretty-" Klaus ripped his wrist from the other man, putting on a fake smile. "Sorry, I hurt my wrist before."
"Oh, sorry." the man replied.
"Just give me one moment, yeah?" Klaus didn't wait for a reply as he turned around, heading towards Jessica. He digs his hands into his pocket. "My sister is being an idiot. Hopefully, that guy takes me to her."
"You do realize that he is checking you out, right?" Jessica points out concern.
"Here," Klaus hands her the pepper spray and a pocket knife.
"No, you take it." Jessica pushes the stuff back towards him, her eyed drifted away from Klaus. "Oh, look, there she is." Jessica says, then speaks louder; "Hey, um, what the hell's wrong with you? Just curious?
"I thought I saw something." Bella answered.
"You...oh...you're insane, actually, or suicidal. Those homeboys could have been psychos. I was about to end up on an FBI interview room like some lame TV show. And Klaus, giving me pepper spray and a pocket knife, when I'm sure you two would have needed it more."
"God, that was such a rush," Bella replied, as though she didn't hear the other girl.
"You need to stop this. Being depressed and putting yourself in danger for no reason."
"Awesome, So you're an adrenaline junkie now? That's cool, you can go bungee jumping. You don't get on the back of some random loser's motorcycle. Crazy!" Both Klaus and Jessica say at the same time.

Nicklaus followed behind Bella, he was shocked and extremely surprised when Esme's and Carlisle's was a car. Klaus had chopped that up to the whole being two of their clan members mate. The two had been on their way to the Black's place.
