No Escape

Chapter 11

IRIS POV

Panic rushed up my body as I grabbed hold of James and he ran like lightening to the closest escape there was dragging me behind him you, he kept running until you couldn't hear the sirens anymore, getting in the car would of meant it was obvious it was us and they would of known the car and tracked it down while as running for your dear life meant you were harder to find you see.

James carried on running until I tried to catch my breath

"James I can't go any further, I'm in heels this is 10x harder." I said between gasps of getting my breathe back he laughed and it made me smile it was the first time he'd properly laughed around me.

"Okay we'll stay here for a while and get one of the lads to pick us up later."

"James."

"Yes darling."

I giggled and he laughed at me again

"What are we going to do if they caught your face."

His laugh suddenly changed into a more serious face as he clenched his jaw.

"Are you saying you want to leave me?!" he bellowed and it frightened me, being with this nice, lovey-dovey James made me forget the monster he can quickly become

"What?! no I never fucking said that did I, i meant for your own safety because how are you going to be able to get out and go anywhere if they know what you look like and they know who to look for!" I spat back him and his face remained the same expression

"Well have wait and see won't we?" He sarcastically grinned at me and I just scoffed and turned around

I was looking at the twilight sky above my head and saw a crystal, white moon it looked so lovely I was staring at the scenery until James wrapped his arms behind me and around my waist, which pulled me closer to him as he started kissing my neck and jawline

"I'm sorry about before baby."

I know it's silly but when he called me 'baby' it made me feel so good and warm inside, I couldn't contain my smile.

"It's okay."

"No it's not, I don't want anyone separating us iris."

"They won't we just need to figure something out, I only need you."

I turned around and kissed him and sparks exploded inside of me

"Promise me something iris."

"Yes James?"

"Don't ever leave me."

"I promise never to leave you."

It was crazy how surprised I am about James, you'd think he'd be some rock hard solid thug which don't get me wrong he is but underneath it all he's just a vulnerable, lonely and full of love he makes me so happy and to the point where I would trade my old life away to stay with him forever.
