Chapter 20

IRIS POV

"When can I go home?" I looked over at James who was doing something on his phone

"Sorry I have to take this and I don't know nor do I care." he stormed out answering his phone causing me to roll my eyes in frustration and sigh heavily. i seriously don't know what he's problem is recently I mean I know he's practically bipolar but it's never been this bad he just snaps every ten minutes for nothing.

He came back inside and sat back down and kissed my forehead but I tried moving away.

"What are you doing?" he asks while looking down

"Sorry which James am I talking to, sweet, caring one or massive dick head one?" I asked while glaring at him

"I've not done anything?" he asks while taking a step back causing me to scoff and laugh

"James you fucking keep snapping at me for no reason like just then I just asked a simple question and you just stormed out saying you didn't care like what did I even do?!"

"I had to answer the phone iris don't cry."

"Oh just piss off James I have headache I don't need you making it worse."

"It'll be my pleasure." he walked out the door causing me to feel guilty and unclip all the hospital gear on me and get out of the bed, the ice, cold floor reaching my feet.

I walked slowly behind him but as he turned an empty corner all I heard was

"Don't worry baby Ill meet you later, she means nothing to me like you do, I love you too okay bye." and he turned around and saw me standing their in my hospital gown with tears falling down my face

"I came to tell you I was sorry but I guess it doesn't matter anymore."

"Iris wait."

I ignored him and tried walking as fast as legs could take me I got to my hospital room and smashed the door right in his face

"IRIS."

He came through the door and I sat on my bed ignoring his presence.

"Look I know it sounds but please just listen to me."

"Nothing you could say will Change anything." I said crying while facing him.

"I don't care about the rat but she's close with David, the guy who raped you, Im tricking her to get to him and get revenge for breaking you."

"By revenge you mean murder don't you?"

"There's no escape from this life I may as well do what I'm good at."

I held he's hand and he brushed my tear away from my eye

"Please don't put yourself in danger James."

"I've been in danger along time iris, but I'm not letting anyone hurt you."

I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him so close feeling the sparks and energy inside my body.

"I love you."

"I love you too baby." he kissed my cheek and I smiled lightly still hugging him.
