Chapter 12

IRIS POV

Tom giving us a lift home and the car ride remained silence, you could of heard a pin drop. He had a fierce expression on his face

"I told you we shouldn't of fucking brought her!" he roared making James more angry and me feeling extremely uncomfortable, I swear Tom has it in for me.

"What is generally you're problem with me? The minute you knew about me you wanted to get rid of me and you threatened to kill me if I ran away even though you know I'm not that stupid nor did I even plan too, I swear Tom..."

"Wait what did he do iris." James interrupted me half way through my rant.

"What?"

"Did you threaten to kill her Tom?" he stared into Tom and he stayed quiet and watched the road

"ANSWER ME!" I jumped and so did Tom

"Yes." he whispered but didn't make any eye contact with James

"Pull over."

"What?"

"I SAID PULL OVER TOM." and Tom did exactly that and before I knew it they both got out of the car and James threw punch after punch to Tom causing me to get out of the car and pull James back.

"JAMES STOP IT."

His eyes spoke venom but they slowly softened as he saw the pleading in mine.

"I'm sorry."

"It's okay just stop now." I smiled at him and he pulled me into a hug before walking up to Tom

"If I EVER hear you've been threatening her again, Ill do a lot more damage, I would of done now but you should be glad she stopped me."

After the event it cause the car ride to be excessively awkward but I slowly fell asleep on James' chest and the next thing I heard was a load of

"What the hell did you do James?"

And

"Tom what the fuck are you playing at recently."

I rubbed my eyes and focused them on the tv where I saw the news in bright red letters saying 'BREAKING NEWS'

"JAMES, GUYS LOOK." I shouted them over and they saw me running away on the news

"We don't have a clear image of the man but we can say he has dark brown hair, white male, 6foot. If you see him or think you have please contact the police straight away.." the news reporter said and a rush of relief went down

"Well Atleast they didn't catch you James." he remained glued to the telly before turning around to me

"Guess we're playing hide and seek then." he held my hand and helped me up from the couch I was about to break away when I saw my bedroom door and tried walking in but James squeezed my hand gently and said

"Stay with me?" I smiled

"Of course."

We made our way to his bedroom and he kissed my lips before saying

"Goodnight princess." and we both cuddled, i felt so safe, so in love, my life was a like a film and I couldn't exactly keep up with what's going on or what's going to happen next but I knew I wanted it to be with James.
