Chapter 8:

"I'm stayig here." i say totally shocked. This is a surprise to me because my mother doesnt let boys stay over or me stay with them even though she knows we're only friends. She knows that i like Dean and that she likes me so what is she doing?

"Yes, but she made me promise that i give you and Heaven my room." he chuckles shaking his head and i know my momma said something else to him. "She also mentioned that you have to go to school tomorrow so i better not keep you up all night."

I sigh knowing that she would still make me go to school tomorrow. "When are Blaze and Heaven getting back?"

"They should be back in a few." Skylar informs and i nod grateful.

"Did momma say she was okay?"

Dean leans over to kiss me on the forehead. "She's fine little one he just gave her a scare. What did you think you were going to do when you got over there alone?"

"Rebuke him." i mumble because i dont really know what i would have done. All i know is that iw would have been there with my momma if anything happened. "What did you think you were gonna do?" i ask him because he is the one that jumped in the car with me.

Dean gives me a look and opens the door getting out. I follow because i know what he was going to do and i wouldnt have liked it. Skyler closes my door muttering something about needing a fight. "Now you better eat before its time to get put to bed." Skyler jokes handing me my noodles.

"You better eat before i shove them down your throat."

"That wasn't verry nice Evangeline." Colton says entering the room

"Colton you always have something to say."

He throws his hands up. "Just want to keep you in check so you can stay right with God."

"Don't worry i'll always be right with God."

"Mhm." he mumbles and i give him a look of disbelief. Why would i nto be right with God? I eat my noodles in silence thinking about what he could possibly mean. I have never done anything that God wouldnt like. I always think about what he would do in the situations i am in before i act.

Someone nudges me and i look over to a concerned Dean. "Are you okay?" he asks and i swallow giving him a smile. "Don't listen to Colton he's stupid. I know you love God and i'd never do anything to ruin that." he reassures me and i smile laying my head on his shoulder. "Are you still tired?" he asks and i yawn with a nod.

"Heaven should be here any minute and then you girls can get to bed." he says running his hand along my face. I close my eyes relaxing.

I think i dosed off because the when i open my eyes im on the couch and Heavens in my face shaking me. "Finally Flower i thought you were dead." she giggles.

Sitting up i wipe my eyes and smile at her. "How did it go?"

"Dean told me we were staying in his room tonight." she grabs my hand pulling me up the stairs. I point to the last door and she enters the room sitting on the bed. "It was great. His mother is lovely and hes a big mommas boy." she giggles. "The good thing is his momma's in church and shes been taking him to church the past few weeks."

I sit beside her smiling widely because that means he would be willing to go to church with her. "Did you ask him to come?" i ask and she frowns shaking her head. "And why not?" i demand.

"I dont think i'm ready."

"Ready for what Heaven. Asking him to go to church with you isn't like your asking him to marry you."
