Chapter 16:

"Oh thank God for fresh air. No chemicals or nasty smells just cleanness and the smell of Fran's cookies." Heaven says taking in a deep breath of my homes air. I give her a weird look and watch amused as she swings on her crutches to the couch. "These really hurt my arm pits." She complains throwing herself on the sofa.

I sit down beside her with a relieved sigh. Sleeping on a hard reclining chair is not easy. "Momma made you up a bed in the Den untill you can get up and walk on your own."

"Aww shes sweet i would have just rode on your back upstairs." she giggles and i fake chuckle at her telling her not a chance. "Do you think she'll let Blaze come over for a bit today?"

Shrugging i grab the remote and turn on the television. "I dont see why not she lets Dean and Sky come over."

"But your her daughter."

I purse my lips at her in disbelief. "She thinks of you as her daughter Heaven."

"I know but you've got the blood and the egg." she mumbles moving her hands around. I bump her laughing and she laughs with me. After a few seconds shs starts holding her sides and groans. "Don't make me laugh my ribs still hurt." 

"Sorry." i mumble and we get into the television the baking channel.

"Hey girls did you want some cookies and cheesecake?" Fran asks bringing us a big plat full of goodies and two forks. She sets it in between us on the couch and we thank her digging in. "Your mother had to go into work Maggie went into labor." Fran informs.Maggie is one of her great friends and she is having tripplets.

"Hey Franny will you be here longer?" i ask her and she sits infront of me asking why.

"We would like for Dean and Blaze to come over." Momma doesnt like boys in the house unless their is an adult here. She trusts me she says but she doesnt trust the boys.

"I'll stay a few more hours." she chuckle and gets up to ruffle my hair.

"Thanks Franny i love you."

"Do you just wanna watch movies in my room?" I ask them looking Heaven over. She's suppose to stay laying down with her foot elevated and in the theater room the chairs only recline but if she lay down she wouldnt be able to see the television.

"Can your bed fit us all?" Sky asks amused.

Heaven nods "She has one of those king sized beds from the East." She tries to stand but Blaze about has a heart attack and rushes over to her picking her off of her feet. "Blaze!" she scolds a little frightened. "I have legs."

"One of them is broken." He mumbles.

Heaven caresses the side of his face turning it toward her. "Yes, but it still works with the help of those." she says pointing to her abandoned crutches.

Blaze looks at them and shakes is head. "Not when i'm around."

"I guess your room it is." Dean muses watching Blaze walk away with Heaven telling him the directions to my room.

"Com on before she hogs the whole bed." Heaven has the tendency to hog my bed even though shes as slim as a tooth pic the girl can take up space if she wants to. I leave them chuckling as i run off toward where Blaze and Heaven disappeared to.

I pass them and rush into my room throwing myself on my bed. Sitting up i cross my legs so they dont get a peep show. "HA!" i yell when she comes into the room with a pout. "You're gettign the edge because if you try hogging it i'm pushing you off."

"My legs broke Evangeline."

Shrugging i look at my nails like i dont care. "Not my problem." Blaze scoffs and i look up at him with raised eyebrows. "Do you have something to say Blaze?" I ask politely really wanting to know what the scoff was about. 

"He shouldn't because this is how we are Blaze. We joke and play around. She wouldnt really push me off of the bed.......disabled." she mumbles the last part because i have pushed her off of the bed before but she wasn't hurt.

"I never knew how out of shape i was untill today." Sky says breathing dramatically heavy. "How many steps and halls did we pass Dean? I lost count at fifty." He jokes plonking down on my bed. "Nice room though."

"Mhm." i mumble getting up to get the remote. Blaze lays Heaven down on the bed and she sticks her toung out at me. "We have to leave the door open but besides for that we're fine." i shrug and they kick off their shoes gettig on the bed.

I climb on and Dean opens his arms to me. Smiling i snuggle into his side going through the nexflix movies. "what do you want to watch?" i ask and Sky takes the remote picking a movie.

We sit there and watch the movie all the way through to the end Heaven screamed a few times and i chuckled at her the whole time. She can be a bit dramatic at times because the Paranormal Acicvity movies arn't scary at all.

"Evie." a soft voice says from the door and i look over to see mommas standing there. "There are no adults here." she states with her hand on her hip.

Sitting up i nod my head quickly a little sad she thinks i would disobey her rules. "Fran said she would stay she's in the kitchen."

Her features flood with relief and i frown at her. "Did you really think i would go against your rules?"

"I didn't think you would thats why i didnt yell right away. I'm glad you asked Fran to stay and that you kept the door open." she says and i nod at her still sad. "It's fine Evie i'm not upset. We'll talk when everyone leaves."

"We were just about to head out." Dean says going to stand. "I've got to get to work."

"Really?" i ask because he didnt tell me that he got himself a job.

He nods with a smile. "Down at Ricks Mechanics. He hired me and said i could work when i wanted because he knows i want to go back to school."

Scooting to the edge of the bed i give him a big hug happy for him. "That's great. I'll walk you to the door you dont want to be late on your first day."

I stand and take his hand. Sky follows us and i give mom a look when i pass her in the door way. "What time are you going to bed tonight?" Dean asks and i look at him with a frown.

"The usual time i guess."

He looks down at me and doesnt seem to pleased. "What if its an hour later?" when i give him a confused look he chuckles. "I dont get off untill eleven." he explains and i nod slowly not understanding. "When i hear your voice and know your okay it makes me sleep better."

"Ohhh." i say with a laugh finally getting it. "Call me Dean i'll be awake." He brings me into a hug and kisses my forehead. "You know what you said wasn't very bad boy." i whisper amused.

"When it comes to you i'm not so bad." he whispers back before leaving.

When the door closes i turn to see my mom standing behind me. "I do trust you Evie its just you have never been interested in a boy and the boys not saved. I know he respects your religious views but you can never be to careful."
