Jisung made his way to his first class of the day. He was not looking forward to the boring class, not to mention that he'd have to see Minho. Before he knew it, he had arrived at his class and walked inside. He ambled over to his desk, seeing Minho sitting behind it as usual. The blonde scrunched his nose as he sat down in his chair. He glanced over to his left. He gazed at Seungmin. He then looked down at the latter's hand, noticing that his string hadn't been connected to anyone yet. "Whatcha lookin' at?" Minho suddenly asked, startling the younger.

"Jeez, you scared me." He admitted, looking back at him. "I was just looking at Seungmin. I noticed his string hasn't been connected to anyone yet."

"Yeah, I noticed that too. But I mean, it's only the beginning of the day, it'll probably get connected later and if not, we know his soulmate is probably younger than him." Minho added.

"I thought you weren't interested in the whole soulmate thing." Jisung poked fun at the older.

"It's hard not to be knowledgeable about it when it's all you would talk about as a kid. Plus, that stuff is common knowledge." He explained. Jisung stuck out his tongue at the older as the bell rang. He turned away from the brunette to face the front of the class, paying attention to the teacher.

As the history teacher droned on, Jisung glanced over to Seungmin once again. He was staring down at his hand, playing with the little red loop that was on his finger. The cherry-haired male must've sensed his gaze, as he looked over at him. Jisung felt a little embarrassed being caught staring, but Seungmin just smiled and waved at him. The blonde did the same before turning his attention back to the teacher before he got caught.

Before he knew it, class was over. Minho surprisingly had left him alone during class, which was something he definitely wasn't used to. Jisung put his papers in his binder before standing up and pushing his chair in. He watched as Seungmin packed up his things. He decided he was going to go over to him and talk.

"Hey Seungmin!" He chirped as he walked towards the birthday boy. "Happy birthday!"

Seungmin looked up at him and smiled. "Hey Jisung, Hey Minho." He greeted. Jisung looked behind him to find that Minho had followed him. "Happy birthday, Seungmin!" Minho said with a smile.

"Thanks you two. I assume you're getting along well now?" He brought up as he glanced back and forth at the soulmates. Minho put his arm around the blonde, causing him to tense from the sudden skinship. "Yep." He answered. Jisung felt his face heat up once again. "That's awesome, I'm happy for you guys. So... are you together now?" He questioned, making Jisung choke on air.

Minho laughed as he watched his soulmate cough profusely. "Not exactly. But we're definitely a lot closer."

Seungmin laughed. "I can see that. If this were before, he wouldn't even let you get near him." He pointed out. Jisung stuck his tongue out at the cherry-haired male.

"We should probably head out now so we aren't late for class." Minho said, the other two agreeing. they walked towards the doorway. "Jokes on you, I don't have a class this period." Jisung snickered. "Yeah, yeah."

Once they exited the classroom, they were met with a certain tall, raven-haired guy. "Hyunjin. What do you want?" Seungmin asked in a hostile tone. He did not want to put up with him on his birthday. "Look, I just want to-" He was quickly cut off. "I don't want to hear it right now. Save it for another day."

He was about to walk away before Hyunjin grabbed his arm, stopping him. At that moment, Seungmin's string began to connect with the latter's. His eyes widened in shock. Jisung and Minho, who were practically bystanders, gasped at the sight. "No way. This is not happening right now." The younger gawped. "Fuck, I'm sorry, Min- I didn't mean for this to happen." Hyunjin apologized immediately. "No, it's not your fault. It's not like you can control who your soulmate is."
