Minho made his way to his first class, knowing he would have to see Jisung. He didn't know what he would do. He hoped Jisung wouldn't interact with him. He sighed for the 500th time that day. He walked into class, thankfully not seeing Jisung yet. He scurried over to his desk, avoiding any sort of social interaction.
He sat down at his desk, distracting himself with his phone. He didn't want to look up. He heard students entering the class one by one, and no sign of Jisung yet. But he thought too soon because he saw the said male plop down into the seat in front of him. The brunette slowly looked up. The blonde was sorting through his things, not paying Minho any attention.
The bell rang as their teacher sauntered into the classroom. Minho tensed up, remembering their assignment. He knew that he would have to talk to Jisung. He cursed under his breath. The history teacher set his things on his desk, organizing whatever he had in his folder. Minho distracted himself with his phone again, as if it would somehow stop the confrontation from eventually happening.
"Everyone, you know what you're doing so just pull out your work and get started. Minho, Jisung, come up here." The strict teacher said in a stern voice. Minho tensed before hesitantly standing up. Jisung stood up as well and walked over to the teacher. Minho followed shortly behind, avoiding any kind of eye contact or interaction. They stopped in front of the teacher's desk.
"I'm aware of why the two of you weren't in class yesterday. Therefore, I won't be deducting any points." He started. Minho let out a sigh of relief. He had one less thing to worry about. "However, if you don't have the assignment ready for me today, I won't hesitate to lower your marks. So, do you have it?"
Minho was going to answer, but Jisung spoke first. "Yeah, it's finished. The younger nodded. "It's online, so I'll send it to you on my phone." He added. "Perfect. I'm glad you two were able to work out your differences and work together." He smiled. Minho tensed. Oh, how wrong he was. Their teacher continued, explaining everything that they had missed from the previous day. Minho just nodded along, barely listening. He just wanted to go and sit down.
The teacher finally stopped talking and handed the two of them the worksheet. He dismissed them and Minho quickly went to his seat. He groaned. He was glad that Jisung hadn't made any effort to talk to him, but it also made him feel worse. It seemed that the more he put off apologizing, the more he was distracted. He wouldn't be able to focus.
The class was unusually quiet, especially since he and Jisung weren't trying to kill each other. Minho was tense. Instead of working, he was working out in his mind how to apologize to Jisung. The period dragged out unbearably long. The class usually went by decently fast for Minho because he usually occupied his time annoying Jisung. Now he couldn't do that, so the class felt like it was going on for hours.
Finally, the bell rang, and Minho sighed. He had gotten nothing done. He packed up his things and glanced up at Jisung. He let out a breath. He decided he was just going to do it. He was going to stop being an idiot and apologize. He took a breath before tapping the younger's shoulder.
The blonde ignored him the first time, so he poked him again. "What do you want, Minho?" Jisung spoke in a passive-aggressive tone, not bothering to turn to face him. It was like there was venom dripping from his words. Minho couldn't find the words.
Jisung grew frustrated, huffing. He turned to face the older. "Are you gonna speak, or are you just gonna waste my time?" The blonde glared at him. "Look, I wanted to apologize-"
"Save it. I don't want to hear it. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm not trying to be late for my next class." Jisung interrupted before grabbing his binder and walking out of the classroom. Minho groaned in frustration. He wasn't surprised that the younger acted that way, but it didn't make him any less furious. He really wanted to sincerely apologize.
Minho reluctantly grabbed his things and made his way to the door, before feeling a hand on his shoulder. The brunette turned to look at the person. His eyes widened. "Hey, Minho." Seungmin spoke. "Seungmin?" Minho said, confused. "I know about what happened earlier." He began, leading Minho into the hall. The two walked as Seungmin explained. "Jeongin overheard yours and Hyunjin's conversation. He informed me of what happened.
Minho was confused. He had no idea who Jeongin was, but didn't mention it. "I'm really glad you've come to your senses. And I saw that you were trying to apologize to him just now. It'll be hard for you to get through to him, especially since it's you. No offence." He continued. Minho shook his head. He knew it was true.
"I know. And I assume you know about Hyunjin too." Minho mentioned. Seungmin nodded with a sad expression on his face. "Yeah. I honestly don't know why I was surprised. He's kind of always been like that." Seungmin sighed. "He didn't even realize that I had feelings for him. He's so unbelievably dense."
Minho nodded, agreeing. He definitely agreed with that. "And when I was talking to him it seems like it didn't even cross his mind." Minho added. Seungmin chuckled dryly. "You know, I can talk to Hyunjin for you if you need me to." He offered. Seungmin shook his head. "No, it's fine. I'm gonna have to talk to him at some point. Thanks for offering though."
"Alright. But if you ever need it, I'm always ready to give him a good talking." He replied. Seungmin laughed. "Thanks. I'll see you at lunch!" He smiled before walking into the classroom they were about to pass. Minho waved goodbye. He was glad that they were on good terms.
He made his way to his second-period class. He almost forgot that Hyunjin was in that class as well. He entered the room, only seeing Changbin. Minho approached his friend. "Hey, Changbin." He spoke hesitantly. Changbin looked up at him. "Before you say anything, I realized what I did wrong. I'm doing my best to make up for what I did." Minho explained as he sat down next to his friend.
"Wow, really? I never would've thought you would do that." Changbin replied shocked. Minho scrunched his nose before hitting the raven-haired male. "Come on, Changbin. I'm not that bad." He defended. "I don't know about that, Minho." He said in a playful tone. The older stuck his tongue out at the latter.
The two of them waited, and the bell eventually rang. "Is Hyunjin really skipping class right now?" Minho said in disbelief. "Are you really that surprised?" Changbin replied. "You're right, that is a Hyunjin thing to do." Minho laughed. The two of them chatted all throughout the rest of the class, even though their teacher told them to stop talking multiple times.

Heyo! What're your thoughts on this chapter?
Sorry if this felt like filler, I promise it'll get way more interesting soon. I'm already working on the next chapter so expect it to come out soon! Also, thank you so much for over 26k reads and almost 2k votes! This fic got so much attention so quickly and it's so strange to me lol.
Also, feel free to DM me or comment here if you have any ideas for a new fanfic. I've been wanting to have an idea for one once this is finished. It can be any boy group as long as I know them well enough (and trust me, I know a lot of groups) and I may be willing to write about a ship that I don't personally ship. It'll only be bxb though, sorry.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this chapter!
