"Minho, Jisung! Are you two ready? It's time to go!"
"Almost! Give us a minute!"
Minho shoved the rest of his things in his bag and zipped it up. "You got everything you need?" The blonde asked, handing him his phone. The latter nodded, picking up his backpack and swinging it over his shoulder. "Nice. Let's gooo!" Jisung cheered, scurrying out of the room. Minho laughed and followed shortly after him. They made their way down the stairs, chatting as they did so.
"Alright boys, let's get going!" Jisung's mom piped. "I just gotta say goodbye to my cats." Minho stated before approaching his three cats. "I'll be back, I promise!" The brunette wailed. Jisung rolled his eyes. His cats looked annoyed but tolerated Minho's idiocy. "Come on, loser. We gotta get going." The squirrel urged. "Fine." The older huffed. He let go of his cats, with them running away once he did.
Minho said goodbye to his mother before heading to the door and slipping his shoes on. Jisung followed suit. They headed out the door, making sure they had everything they needed. The younger's mom unlocked the car and the boys got in. "So, I see that you two resolved an issue. Are you finally getting along well now?" Jisung's mom queried, referring to their extended string.
"I guess... At least we can play video games now!" The blonde pointed out, excited to play on his new console. "Oh yeah, I didn't even think of that. You also don't have to use your left hand anymore." The older added. "Damn, I forgot how great it is to have two hands." He exclaimed. Minho chuckled as he watched the younger admire his hands.
A few minutes past and they arrived at Felix's house. The two boys exited the vehicle, grabbing their things. "Hey Minho, if you want, I can bring your bag back with me so you don't have to carry it along with you." Jisung's mom suggested. "That would be great, thank you." He smiled, setting his bag back down. "You two have fun now. Don't cause too much trouble." She told them jokingly. "Can't make any promises." Jisung responded, waving goodbye. His mom laughed and waved back before driving away.
The two boys walked up to the front door. Jisung banged on the door aggressively. "I think they heard you." Minho laughed as the younger continued to punch the door. The door opened, causing Jisung to stumble forward and punch Felix in the chest. "Ow. What a way to greet the birthday boy." The Aussie said, pushing the squirrel off of him. "Come inside. The others are already here."
Jisung scurried inside the house, Minho doing the same. Felix shook his head at the two as he shut the door. "I see you two are getting along." He mentioned. "You can say that. And look! The string isn't one millimetre anymore!" Jisung exclaimed. "Oh, I didn't even notice! What happened? Did you fu-"
"Aaaaaaaaaaand that's enough out of you." The blonde covered his friend's mouth, a pink tint dusted across his cheeks. "Now, where is everyone?" He questioned. Felix removed Jisung's hand from his face. "They're in the living room." He answered. "Then let's go!" He chirped, running to the said room. Minho followed silently, not knowing what to say.
"Jisung! You're here!" Jeongin exclaimed, charging at him. He engulfed the blonde in a hug. "Yes, I'm here. Minho is here as well." He mentioned. "Oh, yeah! Hi, Minho hyung!" The youngest greeted the awkward male. "Hi..." He greeted back with an awkward smile. The older felt out of place. "Hey, Minho." Chris spoke up with a slight smile. Minho felt somewhat relieved that there was someone else there that he knew well, despite them not being on the best terms.
They all got settled, sitting on the large couch. Minho talked with Chan and Jeongin while Jisung and Felix talked. "So, how are things with Changbin? You didn't invite him?" Jisung interrogated the birthday boy. His face turned pink at the mention of the ravenette. "I wasn't gonna just invite him! That would be weird! Not to mention that he almost kissed me. I don't know how I could talk to him after that without being a blushing and stuttering mess!" Felix exclaimed. The blonde laughed at his friend. "What about you and Minho, huh? What happened to make the string extend?"
