Jisung made it to his locker and groaned. He just wanted to have a normal day, but of course, nothing is never normal for the squirrel boy. He just wanted to apologize to Felix as soon as possible. He opened his locker and shoved his bag in it. He grabbed his things as usual and shut his locker.

Jisung sighed. He was so used to having Felix pester him in the mornings, and now it was just quiet. He never thought he would miss that. And it had only been a day. He locked his locker and checked his phone. He still hadn't received any messages from anyone. Not even Chan, who messaged him practically every morning.

He decided on texting Chris.

Jisung turned off his phone and stared at the dark screen blankly. Bang Chan was mad at him. Jisung knew he deserved it, but he felt upset. He hated when people got mad at him. It always made him feel awful and he would put himself down way too much.

The bell rang, startling him. As he was about to stand up, he felt someone kick him on the back, causing him to fall forward, landing on his face. He groaned and pushed himself up. He turned to see Hyunjin and Minho, who were laughing. Normally he would've yelled at them and probably would've hit them back, but he didn't feel angry, he was upset. He just looked down and picked up his things before walking away.

It wasn't until he entered his class when he realized there were tears streaming down his cheeks. "Shit." He whispered, his voice wavering. Luckily everyone in the classroom was too busy caring about themselves to notice him.

He made his way to his seat. He set his things on his desk before wiping the tears off his face. He glanced around the room to make sure no one was looking at him. He looked to the right of the classroom and saw Seungmin looking at him, and they made eye contact. He had a concerned look on his face. Jisung quickly broke eye contact and stared down at his desk.

He managed to compose himself before Minho walked into the room. He avoided the older's gaze and tried to seem like the normal, pissed off Jisung. Class started, and Jisung could barely do any work without his mind wandering off.

While he was trying his best to concentrate, he felt something hit off the back of his head. Jisung didn't bother turning around. He then felt Minho kick his chair. The blonde just ignored it.

"Hey, shit head. You dropped this on the way to class." Minho said. Jisung sighed before turning around. Minho was holding out a pencil. He tried to grab it but Minho pulled it back. Jisung just turned back around. He was not going to deal with Minho today.

After a few minutes, Minho spoke up. "Fine, just take it. But don't expect me to do this again." Jisung turned around and grabbed the pencil from the older without saying anything.

Thankfully, Minho didn't bug him for the rest of the class. After the class dragged on for what felt like hours, the bell finally rang. Jisung gathered his things, but accidentally dropped his phone. Nothing is going right for me today, huh.

He bent over and picked it up. As he stood up straight, he was startled by the presence of Seungmin. "Jeez, Seungmin. You scared the shit out of me." Jisung exclaimed. "Sorry." He chuckled. "I noticed you were crying earlier. What happened? Was it Hyunjin or Minho? I swear, Hyunjin always talks about how much he hates you and wants to get revenge or something. It's quite annoying." He continued.

Jisung was at a loss of words. Why was Seungmin being so nice to him? "I, uh..." Jisung paused to think. "Yes and no. He decided to kick me earlier and I fell on my face. I deserved it anyways. But I also just haven't been feeling good today." He admitted. Jisung didn't know why he was telling him all of this. He usually never talked about his feelings unless it was his anger.

Seungmin frowned. "That Hyunjin." He shook his head. "I'm gonna give him a good smack when I see him. I don't know why he doesn't like you."

"Well, I gotta go now but... uh, thank you." Jisung replied awkwardly. "Alright, I won't bother you any longer. If Hyunjin bothers you at all, come to me. And Minho too, for that matter." He smiled. I smiled back and walked out of the room.

Having Seungmin talk to him made him feel a little better. He headed to the library as usual, thinking. The only good thing that happened this day is Seungmin talking to him. He sighed as he walked into the quiet library and sat down.

Minho walked to his second period class, thoughts flooding his mind. Despite really not wanting to, his thoughts were all about Jisung. He wanted to get that stupid little nerdy squirrel boy out of his mind, but his brain decided to feel concerned.

Why am I still thinking about him?? I could care less about why he looked so sad this morning. I don't give a shit about him. But even though he was telling himself all of these things, he felt concerned. He even felt a little bad for tormenting him, even though he never felt bad about it before.

Why am I being a softie? I hate his guts. He pisses me off so goddamn much, that asshole. Is it because of that picture? Because I remembered when we were friends?

"Are you gonna go in or not?" He heard Changbin snicker. Minho snapped out of his confusing thoughts. "Psh. I was debating whether or not I should skip class." Minho lied. "Yeah, whatever. Now move so I can go in." The shorty punched his shoulder. Minho rolled his eyes and walked into the classroom.

He sat down and Hyunjin and Changbin chatted while he sat, thinking, again. Although he didn't want to, he worried for the younger.

Class started, and he could hardly focus. He was really curious as to who carried him into the school, and of course he was thinking about Jisung. He made his best effort to pay attention despite his mind focusing on everything but the teacher's voice.

Changbin and Hyunjin looked concerned for him, but couldn't do anything since they had to pay attention.

After finally managing to focus for the most of the class, the bell rang for lunch. He sighed and picked up his things.

"Hey Minho, are you okay? You seemed frustrated all class." Hyunjin asked. "I'm fine. I've just been thinking about this morning still." He explained. "Just get over that man. You probably won't find out who it is. It's not that big of a deal." Changbin spoke up. "I guess."
