Jisung left the library after the bell rang. He walked to his locker and his breathing was shaky. He hated that he was still nervous to talk to Felix. He wanted to be calm and composed for once. Jisung always felt anxious, even if he had nothing to be anxious about. He would always have that feeling that makes you feel sick and on edge. He hated it.
He quickly put his things away in his locker before slamming it shut by accident. He flinched because of his own actions. The blonde then locked his locker before nervously heading to the cafeteria.
He opened the door and glanced at their usual eating spot. He saw Chris and Jeongin, but not Felix. He walked over to the table anxiously, his head facing the ground.
The two of them looked up as they saw Jisung approaching. "H-hey guys. Do you know where Felix is?" He mumbled. "No. We haven't seen him yet." Chris answered. Jisung sighed. " I'm gonna go look for him."
"I might know where he is." Jeongin spoke up. Jisung's eyes lit up for a second. "Can you help me?" He questioned. "I'll bring you to where he is, but you have to talk to him on your own. He'll be mad at me if he knew that I brought you to him." He added. Jisung nodded. "Okay."
"I'll be back soon Chan Hyung." Jeongin said. He nodded in response. Jeongin led the older out of the cafeteria and we headed to the second floor. Jisung's hands were shaking as they walked.
Jeongin led him to the art room. The art teacher always left the room open if students wanted to hang out in there and work on their art. "He's in there." He stated. "I'm gonna go now, good luck hyung."
Jisung watched the younger leave and then glanced at his hands. He tried to hold them to stop them from shaking but it didn't work. He peeked into the room and saw Felix sitting at a table near the windows. He luckily wasn't facing the doorway. Jisung's heartbeat was fast because of his anxiousness. He took a deep breath before walking into the classroom.
He approached the Aussie slowly. There were a few other people in the class but they were focused on their art. Jisung hesitantly tapped Felix's shoulder. Felix turned around.
Jisung was overcome with anxiety. He wanted to say something but nothing would come out. Felix must've noticed how nervous Jisung was because he sighed and gestured for the blonde to sit down next to him. Jisung was relieved he didn't tell at him or tell him to leave.
Jisung hesitantly sat down. He managed to control his breathing and calm himself down. It took him a few seconds to collect himself but when he did, he spoke. "I'm really sorry Felix. I-I shouldn't have gotten so mad at you. I don't know what came over me."
Felix turned to look at the other. "It's okay, I understand. I was kind of being pushy and wasn't thinking about how you were feeling at the time."
"I shouldn't have gotten so snappy though. I knew that you're sensitive and I freaked out at you anyways, over a dumb photo."
"I forgive you for that, Jisung. I should've stopped being so nosey when I knew that you were conflicted with something and had a lot on your mind. It's hard for me to know when to stop." Jisung chuckled. "Oh, I know that." He joked. Felix playfully punched his arm.
They sat there in pleasant silence for a few minutes before Jisung spoke up. "It was a picture of me and Minho." "Huh?"
"The photo of the children you were curious about. I found it under my bed yesterday and was so confused. My parents told me that we were best friends when we were younger." Jisung explained. "Wait, really?" Felix exclaimed. The squirrel boy nodded.
