7 days until Han Jisung's Birthday

Jisung woke up to his alarm feeling like shit. As soon as he woke up, he was reminded of what had happened the day before. He smacked his forehead before sitting up.

The rest of the day yesterday he had tried to figure out his thoughts and feelings, but to no avail. He didn't know what to do.

I should've talked it out with Chan. Man, why am I such an idiot?? Jisung yanked at his hair as he walked to his closet. He had no idea what he was gonna do when he sees Felix. What was he gonna do on the bus? Should he avoid him? Should he talk to him? Should he just sit next to him quietly? Jisung groaned in frustration at himself. He always managed to fuck something up and make it hard for everyone.

He tried to take it off his mind momentarily as he got ready for school. He made no effort for his outfit today. He so badly wanted to fix things, but he didn't know how to. After changing, he headed to the bathroom.

He looked at himself in the mirror. He looked exhausted. He hadn't slept well because his mind was full of thoughts. He had dark bags under his eyes. He decided to use concealer so that he at least looks decent.

After applying the little bit of makeup, he brushed his teeth and put his contacts in. He finished getting ready before leaving the bathroom. He gathered his things before heading downstairs.

He walked to the front door and set his bag on the bench and then went to the kitchen. "Hey, son. Your mother left for work early today, so I'm cooking." His dad spoke. Jisung just hummed in response, which made his dad concerned. "You okay?" He asked.
It took Jisung a few seconds before opening his mouth to reply. "Yes."
"It doesn't seem like it. Come on, you can tell me anything." He turned to face Jisung.

Jisung sighed. "I kind of flipped out at Felix yesterday. I guess I was just overwhelmed and yelled at him. I know how sensitive he is, but I yelled at him anyway. I feel awful for doing it and I don't know what do to." He said all in one breath. His dad pondered for a moment before walking over to his son. "Come on, let's go sit down." He said, patting his back.

"What about the food?" Jisung asked. "It's finished. I'm gonna bring it over now." He explained. Jisung nodded in understanding and went to sit down in the dining room.

His dad brought the food to the table before sitting down. "So, why did you feel overwhelmed yesterday?" He questioned Jisung. "I, well... You know how I found that picture of Minho?" He started. His dad nodded. "Well, I was just really confused about it because I didn't remember being friends with him. We've been enemies for who knows how long, so it threw me off." He stopped for a breath.

"Apparently the picture had fallen out of my pocket and Minho found it. He confronted me about it in class. Then at the end of class, he gave it back to me. I looked on the back and it said 'I remember'. I was just really confused and conflicted. Eventually, when it was lunchtime, Felix kept bugging me about it and I got annoyed because I just didn't want to think about it and I kind of just lashed out at him. I wanted to tell him I was sorry, but he already left. Now I don't know what to do." Jisung finished. He had to catch his breath because he barely gave himself time to breathe as he was talking.

"Tell him you're sorry. Explain to him that you didn't mean to get angry at him, and you were just thinking about a lot and you were overwhelmed. Be honest with him." He told the blonde. "I know... It's just hard for me to tell people how I feel. Whenever I want to, I just end up brushing it off."

"I understand. But you were able to talk to me, right?" Jisung nodded. "Then you can talk to your friend. It'll be difficult at first, but it's fine once you start talking. You will even feel relieved. He's your friend, Jisung. I'm sure he'll understand your reasoning. I promise you, once you talk to him about it and get it off your chest, you'll feel so much better. If he doesn't accept your apology right away, then give him a little time."
