Minho and Jisung continued to play with the three cats until their mothers walked into the room. "So, you two are soul mates, huh?" Minho's mother started. The blonde felt his face heat up. He looked over at the older. His face was a pink tint as well. Minho nodded in response. "That is so cute! I know you never liked the idea of getting a soulmate, but you two seem to get along well!" She said with a huge grin. "Anyway, I won't hold you two up. I heard you have a birthday party to go to."

"Yeah, it's for Jisung and his friend Felix. Their birthdays are only a day apart, so they celebrate it together." The brunette explained from what Jisung had told him earlier. "Oh! Well, happy late birthday then, Jisung!" She said. "Thank you." The blonde said shyly. "You two do what you need to do." Jisung's mom spoke up. "Oh, don't you need to text Felix?" She brought up. "Oh yeah, I forgot." He chuckled before pulling his phone out of his pocket.

Jisung shut his phone off before shoving it in his pocket. "Felix said to be there at four." He informed. "Okay! That means you two have around a half hour to do whatever. I'll just be down here talking with her." Jisung's mom replied, pointing to Minho's mom. "Alright. Let's go, 'Sung!" Minho chirped. "Hey, who said you could call me that?" The younger puffed out his cheeks in anger, which made the brunette smile widely. "I did. Now come on!"

Minho led Jisung through the house. "This is giving me a rush of nostalgia." The younger stated as he glanced around. "So, are we gonna stay here tonight or are we gonna go back to my house?" The blonde asked. "We're staying here. I need to be with my cats." Minho responded. "Wait, but I don't have anything for sleeping over." He remembered. "So? Neither did I when I stayed at your place." The older male pointed out. "That is true... But I do want to have some of my clothes or something."

The two boys entered Minho's room. "You can just wear mine." The brunette offered. "Can't you just pack up some things and bring it to my house? It'll be a lot easier. We can come stay here another time." Jisung begged. "Fine. Only because you're stubborn and won't give up until you get what you want." He gave in to the younger's pleading. "That means you have to help me gather some things then." He ordered. "Fine."

Jisung had to admit, he expected being stuck with Minho would be a lot worse. In fact, he kind of enjoyed his company. He thought they would go back to constantly arguing and annoying each other. He noticed he was the one who was starting the arguing. Before, it was usually the older who would pick a fight with him. But now, he realized he was arguing with the brunette for no reason. "Why are you staring at me like that?" He questioned, pulling Jisung out of his daze. "Come on, help me pack some stuff."

"I'm sorry." Jisung piped, throwing Minho off. "What? Why are you sorry?" He questioned. "I realized I've been all pissy for no reason. I mean, sure, I didn't expect us to be soulmates, but that doesn't mean I should act like a dick. You probably hate being my soulmate and I'm just making it worse." He explained. The brunette blinked. He grabbed the younger's hands instinctively. "I don't hate it at all!" He piped. Jisung's cheeks turned pink. Minho quickly realized his actions and let go of his hands. "I-I mean, it's fine, you don't need to apologize. It's not like we're full out fighting like we used to."

"I know, I just feel like I've been argumentative for no reason. I really do want to be friends again, I guess I'm just so used to fighting with you." Jisung responded. Minho visibly winced at the younger's words. "Yeah..." His voice trailed off. He turned his head away with a somewhat upset expression on his face. "Hey, are you okay? Did I say something wrong?" This time, the blonde grabbed the older's hands. Minho looked into Jisung's eyes, surprised by his actions. He became flustered. "I-it's nothing." Their faces were only a few inches away.

"Are you sure? You looked sad for a second there." He quizzed. "I-I'm sure. Shouldn't we be p-packing up some things?" The older continued to stutter. "Oh, right! Sorry, I wasted our time." Jisung apologized once again, pulling away. "Stop apologizing. Let's just do it." Minho shook his head, attempting to push his intrusive thoughts away. "Wait! Minho, look!" Jisung exclaimed as he stared down at their hands. "The string is longer now! It extended!" The red string did indeed increase in length. It was now long enough that they could be around five feet away from each other. "I guess that's what I needed to do to get it longer." Jisung spoke. "Well, let's pack up now!"

The two boys gathered Minho's things. The older couldn't take his mind off what had happened just a few moments ago. There was no denying that he was falling in love with the younger. It didn't help that Jisung was warming up to him slowly but surely.
