Changbin rushed down the hallway, trying to escape the situation as quickly as possible. He had just embarrassed himself in front of his crush. He wasn't surprised though; he had a tendency to embarrass himself often. "Fuck, I'm such an idiot! He must think I'm so stupid." He whined aloud, smacking his forehead multiple times. He wished the day could just restart. He stopped smacking himself when he noticed something hanging from his finger.

He couldn't believe what he was seeing. His string wasn't just a pathetic loop around his finger anymore. It had connected to someone, particularly his soulmate. He thought back to the incident that had happened only a minute ago. Could Felix be my soulmate? There's no way. Wait, what day is it? As Changbin arrived at his locker, he pulled his phone out to check the date. September 15th. Changbin was in disbelief.

Changbin had asked Chan a while ago when Felix's birthday was because he was curious. He remembered him saying that his birthday was on the 15th of September, right after his friend Jisung's birthday. Maybe he remembered his birthday wrong? Maybe it was the other way around, and Felix's birthday was before Jisung's. He quickly remembered the incident with Minho and Jisung yesterday, meaning Felix's birthday was today.

He didn't come in contact with anyone else earlier, so it had to be the Aussie. He just couldn't process it in his mind. He couldn't believe he was soulmates with someone so beautiful in every single way. When he saw Felix for the first time, he was in shock because the younger was ethereal. Since he had the chance to talk to him a few times, he fell in love deeper. The Aussie was so kind and hilarious. Not to mention his deep ass voice that low-key intimidated the ravenette.

He found everything about Felix endearing. Changbin didn't believe he had anything charming about himself. He almost felt bad for Felix for being paired with him. Before he could delve further into his thoughts, someone had approached him. Changbin glanced up to see Hyunjin. "What's got the edge-lord all shaken up? I don't think I've ever seen you like this unless you're near... Felix. Don't tell me..." Hyunjin trailed off as he slowly realized the situation. He looked at the short male's hand and, low and behold, Changbin's string had connected to someone.

"No way, you got a soulmate before me? I thought for sure I'd get one before you." Hyunjin exclaimed, shocked. "Oh fuck off, Hyunjin. Why don't you go resolve your issues with Seungmin before you make some with me?" Changbin snapped. "Jeez, relax. Do you not like your soulmate that much?"

Changbin rolled his eyes. "You seriously need to stop avoiding this, Hyunjin. Do you seriously not feel bad at all?" He asked the younger. The tall male had an almost unreadable expression on his face. There was a twinge of guilt and sadness on his face. "I... I know. I'm trying, okay?" He admitted, surprising the latter. Changbin decided on telling him about his soulmate later because this was important. Hyunjin pulled at his hair. "I don't want to think about it right now."

The shorter male sighed. "Hyunjin. You know you can talk to me right? I can't understand where you're coming from if you don't talk about anything. You can't keep bottling things up." He tried to calm him down. "I know. But you don't realize how hard it is." He said. "That's exactly why you should talk to me. So I can understand you. I know it's hard, but I care about you and I want to help you fix this." Changbin said sincerely. "I don't know... The bell is going to ring in a few minutes. Plus you just got a soulmate and I don't want to bring down your mood."

"Let's skip class then. And don't worry about me right now." Changbin suggested. Hyunjin was quiet for a moment, thinking. The bell rang, which made Hyunjin have to speed up his decision making. "Just go to class. I'll be fine. I don't think I'm ready to talk just yet." He finalized. The ravenette sighed. "Okay. I won't force you. But will you consider talking to me another time?" He asked. "I'll think about it. Thank you though, Changbin." He smiled sadly.
