She ran.
As he was slowly approaching her, she turned around and run to the exit. Thanks to her small physique she could quickly slip between the crowd, leaving Arin behind.
"Pari STOP!" She could hear his pleas, orders and whatnot shake the ground below. Suddenly, a man in tuxedos leaped towards her, almost catching her before she threw her slingbag at his face.
She flung open the green exit door and found herself in a luxurious hallway of a hotel.
She scoffed at yet another lie. They camouflaged this terrible club by linking the exit door to an ordinary room, 243.
Without wasting another moment she sprinted to the end of the corridor as she glanced at Arin moving swiftly through the crowd, his eyes fixated on her. Pari couldn't read his eyes, was it anger? frustration? She couldn't risk it now, god know what he will do to her if he lays his hands on her, she simply couldn't trust him anymore.
As the elevator opened, she pressed fervently jammed the button directing the elevator to go to the basement, but as the doors began to close she slipped out. She quickly, slipped into the other elevator and pressed the rooftop restaurant. Its safer to wait for him to leave the hotel before she escapes.
Impatiently tapping her finger against the metal wall behind her, she tried to catch her breath as the salty tears were threatening to fall again. She couldn't let herself get overwhelmed now, she had to get out.
As the door opened, a cool breeze entered the elevator as if calming Pari. She quickly and discreetly looked around for a phone to call someone for help. It was near midnight, and the restaurant was nearly empty. Hiding close to the walls, she searched around as the employees and this hotel cannot be trusted. As she was about to reach the small phone near the restaurant reception, she froze as she felt a heavy hand on her shoulder as someone leaned near her ears and whispered...
"got you..."
"Jordan?" she jumped but turned around, recognizing that playful voice. She saw his drooping eyes as he wore a blue velvet suit, adorned with a golden watch that did justice to his wealth.
"Who you playing cat and mouse with?"Jordon asked playfully peeking at the corridor.
"What..."
"Why are you hiding like this?" he asked cupping her face "Are you okay?"
Her eyes gave her away as she teared up. "No, no no I'm not"
"Hey, calm down, what's the matter?"
"Jordan, please help me get out of here, please!"
"Pari, what happened? This is first time I've seen you cry since school" he tried to calm Pari who shook furiously
"I can't, Arin... everything about him is a lie. He's not what we think, there was violence, blood, gangsters..."
