20 minutes. Blackout. Stuck.
"WHAT IS HAPPENING?!" Malon bellowed. He felt his way to the corridor and sprinted into the darkness. Pari stuck with that monster, god knows what he would do to her.
Suddenly the lights came back on.
"Malon" his superior stern voice shooted through his earpiece.
"Sir"
"Turn back" he barked the command. Malon stopped running.
"But sir, Pari is still..."
"She signaled she's alright, come back"
"but si..."
"It's an order" the deep baritone vibrated against his ear. There was nothing he could do, Malon retreated back to the control room, hands sweaty and chest beating fast.
Back in the cell, Pari was seated on the bed, caged between the wall and Arin who wouldn't stop playing with a lock of her hair. The more she scooted towards the wall, Arin closed in. He didn't meet her eye, but foddled with her hair with a satisfied grin. Pari was more annoyed. She pulled her shirt the best she could to cover the marks he left on her, and it still felt weird between her legs. She didn't want to recount the 20minutes in darkness, it left her beet red. She was glad Arin didn't tear her clothes considering how aggressive he was in making love to her.
She slapped his hand away. "Don't touch me"
Arin gently held her cheek and turned her towards him, "Still mad at me? But love didn't it feel more exciting doing it in a prison cell where we could get caught" he seductively bit his bottom lip as his eyes fell on hers. No way, not again!
Pari abruptly stood up.
"Your touch makes me feel nauseous" Pari lied, the only thing that rose in her stomach at Arin's touch was butterflies, this angered her more, how could she be so pathetic?
"Do you hate it that much huh?" Arin sounded annoyed, she saw his jaws tick.
"Yes, I absolutely hate it"
"Now that's a problem, isn't it love. Afterall, you got to deal with it for the rest of your life" Arin got up, sizing her.
"What do you mean?"
"Are you going to act dumb my dear wife?"
"What nonsense, I would never marry someone like you" Pari shouted louder than she intended to. It echoed across the bare prison walls.
"Someone like me?" Arin closed in, but Pari held her ground.
"Yes, trash like you. Why don't you go fuck that secretary of yours or the prostitutes you keep at your club" Pari spat bitterly.
That was the tipping point for Arin. He threw the chair that was between them. The force was so strong, it shattered against the wall. Her earpiece was broken, that's the first thing Arin removed off her before the lights went out. She was trapped. His chest rose and fell tensed, with two long strides he grabbed Pari and firmly held her shivering frame by her arms, it bruised her.
"Listen here Pari, better hear it properly cause I'm not going to fucking repeat it again. I have never laid a hand on another woman. Tania was nothing more than a responsibility, I gave her a chance as my secretary, she blew it and that's all there is to it. I don't give a fuck if you believe me or not, but in this life you are going to be my wife and I don't care if I need to drag you to the alter myself. You understand?"
Arin spoke hoarsely, his face inches from hers. Pari didn't know what to do but to helplessly stare at him as she continued to shiver like a leaf. Though Pari had seen him mad and violent before, it was never once directed at her. For the first time, Pari truly understood what Malon tried to tell her, that Arin is not normal, he's crazy and she prayed that what he's crazy about was not her.
