The waiter stood awkwardly between the couple fiercely glaring at each other.

"Ma'am can I get you something to drink?"

"Soda"

"Yes Ma'am, and sir?"

"Whatever this lovely lady is having" he spat without looking away from Pari. Taking note of the order and the atmosphere the waiter left quickly.

"So you knew?" Pari questioned raising her eyebrow

"About?" Arin asked in mocking inquisitiveness

"Let talk honestly Arin"

"Alright" Arin leaned back with a smirk while Pari remained still her hands crossed.

"When did you find out?" Pari began in a steady demanding tone.

"Find out about you breaking into my company?" Arin retorted stressing on his words

"Breaking? Come on I didn't barge into your company"

"Well then, should I say you came as a fraud?" Pari's breath hitched at his blatant accusations.

"Mind what you say Arin, I did not come to your company with any ill-intentions"

"So says the women who humiliated me"

"For godsakes I didn't even know it was your company and don't even try to shift the blame of that event" Pari said referring to their last date.

"Shift?! You shouted at me in front of the whole restaurant, do you even know that I know the place, word of that incident spread like wildfire"

"I never asked you to force that marriage or force yourself on me"

"Force?!"

"Yes!" Pari shouted back

Arin sighed as he tried to cool his boiling anger, he couldn't let it burst. No he couldn't. Pari and this world knew him as a normal guy, a nice guy at most times. He couldn't let them see the side he hid all these years, especially in front of this women.

"Pari listen to me" Arin began softly "I am sorry for any misunderstanding we have I..."

Pari cut him off "there is no misunderstanding you are being unreasonable and a jerk to put it kindly"

This women, Arin rubbed his eyes. She bravely walking into no one's land without knowing who is waiting on the other side. He slowly eyed her wondering if her unforgiving nature is a sign of her courage or foolishness. Arin took a last breath and began his act.

"Pari let's begin from the start. The only reason I asked you to marry me is because I thought we got along well and 10 dates wasn't necessary"

"But even then, how could you force me?" Pari seemed to have calmed a bit as she bought his seemingly sincere efforts.

"I...I was wrong" he purposely stuttered lowering his eyes "I was excited and there was family pressure, since we got along well I thought there was no reason to wait. I was wrong for assuming that you felt the same".

Pari silently watched as he continued.

"I'm just used to getting my way and I thought you would agree"

"But I never even hinted that I was ready" Pari rebutted, refusing to back down easily.

"Yes...yes I know. I'm sorry for not being considerate. This is my first time and I'm still learning so please cut me some slack" Arin pleaded smothering his anger that was yet to dissipate.

"your first relationship?" Pari asked suspiciously

"Yes"

"Oh, mine too" Pari replied looking at her lap. She always wanted this. To be someone first and them to be her first. Her friends experienced relationships to the fullest while she was left behind trying to build a career. Even though she was rewarded with a good life for her hard work, she felt left out. The innocence, the pureness and special feeling of first love seemed so enticing but everyone, especially the guys in her blind dates, seemed way ahead as they boasted about their 'experience' like an achievement. She wanted a husband she could have all to herself, his first and last, like he would be hers. For long, she suppressed this innocent longing knowing she is expecting much, but she was taken back by Arin's confession. Was he in the same situation as her,  trying to find and hold onto our little fairytales that may seem absurd to another.

Pari didn't want to believe him so readily. It was true that she was growing on him, if it wasn't for his abrupt proposal she might have actually married him.

"I'm really sorry Pari, I should have been more honest" his spewed lies so easily as he observed her reactions. She wore a bewildered look as if arguing with herself. Her hands nervously tugged at each other. Suddenly her phone rang. She excused herself escaping the sticky situation.

"What is it?" She asked her assistant on the other side.

"Ma'am we found him"

"Him?"

"Ma'am that man from two months ago" Pari's heart quickened. Finally she found him.

"Are you sure it is him?"

"Oh good!"

"Who is he?"

"Ma'am you might know me"

"is it, who?" Pari asked impatiently

" Arin Kare"
