The Curse

Chapter 24

"Where did you go?" I heard a cold voice the moment I entered my room. 

Napaawang ang labi ko ngunit agad ding nakabawi. I hugged myself and went to my walk-in-closet to change my clothes. Komportable naman ako sa lamig ngunit hindi pwedeng ganito ang suotin ko palagi.

The moment I finished, lumabas na ako at dumiretso sa kama. I used my powers to create a cold wind inside my room. 

"You're deaf now?" I heard him asked again but I didn't answer. 

Umayos ako ng higa at tumalikod sa banda nya. I can feel his presence going near me, naramdaman ko ang paglubog ng likudan ko. 

"Linnaea..." he called, almost whispered because of how soft it was.

What is he up to, now? 

Hindi pa din ako sumasagot kaya narinig ko ang pagbuntong hininga nya. 

Natahimik sya ng ilang minuto bago ko naramdaman ang pagtayo nya. I bit my lower lip to avoid stopping him from leaving.

"Goodnight," he said before I heard the clicking of the door. Pero bago ko pa marinig ang pagsara non ay umupo na ako at tinawag sya.

"Wait!" I shouted. Bigla ko ding pinagsisihan nang huminto sya at lumingon sa akin.

"What...are you doing here?" I asked instead. I saw him breath deeply before locking the door again and leaning against it.

"That's an acting," He answered, walang connect sa tanong ko. 

"I told you to trust me, right?" he added but I kept silent.

"Tapos palagi mo pang kasama si Westi--."

"What do you want me to do then?" I asked sarcastically.

"I don't understand you anymore, you're telling me to trust you but you can't even trust me--."

"That's not true--."

"Then what do you call this? If you really trust me, you'll tell me everything!" I demanded that made his jaws clenched.

"Baby, please understand--."

"Leave!" I cutted him again and pointed at the door behind him.

"Fucking leave!" I shouted angrily. Nakayuko syang lumabas ng pinto habang pinapakalma ko ang sarili ko.

He's fucking annoying. 

I think I can kill him if ever I saw his face again.

"Are you serious?" Cloud asked, while looking at me weirdl. Tinaasan ko sya ng kilay at tumango.

"Tangina, may ganon ba?" he asked Marius who also shrugged with brows furrowed.

"Ano ba kasing gagawin mo don, Sapphire?" Belle asked curiously.

"She's crazy," Noah commented.

"If you don't want to give it to me, start packing your clothes now and fucking leave this--."

"Hoy teka naman." Aidan cutted me and put his hands in front of him like calming me. I crossed my arms in my chest and glared at him.

"Saan naman kasi kami makakakita ng lollipop na kulay gold sa labas tapos lasang rambutan at hindi nauubos?" Hindi maipaliwanag ang mga mukha nila  nang sinabi iyon ni Aidan.

I gritted my jaws and was about to burst out again when Ashvin came, with his usual bored expression, messy hair, and hoodies. 

"What's happening?" he asked, confused.
