The Curse

Chapter 26

Tonight, I planned to tell Ashvin about me being pregnant.

But I wanted to cry.

Because I don't know why.

Why do I want to cry?

Naramdaman ko na lamang ang mga luha na pumatak sa pisngi ko kasabay ng pagtula ng ulan sa kalangitan.

Fuck this. 

I stood up and went in front of my mirror. Nang makita ko ang sarili ay tinuro ko ang aking tyan.

"Stop making your Mommy cry!" I said. But when I felt bad because of it, I cried again.

"She's crazy," Blade commented when they saw me on the living room with puffy eyes. I saw how Ashvin clenched his jaws and look away--avoiding to look at me. 

"What happened, Sapphire?" Belle asked worriedly but I remained silent. I rolled my eyes at them when they agreed at Blade's words.

"My eyes hurts--." Westin stopped talking and walking when he saw me with them. Tinanggal nya ang pagkakahawak sa mata at dahan dahang naglakad papunta sa amin.

"Who wouldn't bro? With all these golds?" Cloud replied but Westin just shrugged and sat in front of me.

"Kamusta ang naglilihi sa ginto?" He asked with a grin. I heard Charmaine giggled--she's beside Westin.

"Hindi ako naglilihi." I said. 

"Ulol," Cloud commented that made my eyes widened.

"Did you just cursed me?" I asked seriously. Nanlaki ang mga mata nya ng makita na paiyak na ako. He shooked his head but I'm already crying. Tumayo ako at lumapit kay Ashvin na kunot na kunot ang noo. Napaawang ang labi nya nang umupo ako sa lap nya at bigla na lamang yumakap sa leeg nya.

"Babe, i-inaaway ako." I whispered while crying.  I heard him cursed before I felt his hand on my hair and caressed.

"I didn't!" I heard Cloud defended himself but they all ganged up on him.

"Narinig namin!" Pangunguna ni Westin. 

"Ulol kapa ha. Uno, kami na bahala dito, iakyat mo na yang Reyna mo." Marius said.

"Reyna mong iyakin." Cloud added that made them loud again.

"Tangina mo, pag ikaw namatay." Pananakot ni Atlas sa kanya na nagpatawa kay Cloud.

"Hindi ako mamamatay, diba love?" I think he asked help to Eira. 

"Kill him," Eira replied that made me smirk.

"Love naman! Parang others--."

"Let's go," Ashvin whispered on me before I felt him stood up. Buhat buhat nya pa din ako at mas humigpit ang pagkakayakap ko sa leeg nya.

"Iakyat lang ha." Aidan shouted at us but I can't hear them anymore because my eyes are already falling.

I woke up with a light feeling. I feel like I can do everything right now so I stood up and took a bath before going down. 

Nakita ko sila sa dining area at kumakain habang nagku kwentuhan. They stopped talking when they saw me.

"Oh, kain kana din." yaya ni Westin at inalalayan pa ako at pinaghila ng upuan. But when I scanned them, I smiled when I saw Cloud. Lumapit ako sa kanya at nanlaki naman ang mga mata nya. 

"I want to sit beside him." I pointed at Cloud. Kumunot ang noo ni Blade at walang nagawa kung hindi tumayo at lumipat ng upuan. Katabi ko na ngayon si Cloud na nagpalaki sa ngiti ko.
