Peace offering:>

"H-huh?"

"Let's break the mate's bond," he repeated.

I shooked my head as an answer.

"I already talked to Westin." I gritted my teeth at his answer.

I don't understand.

"And he agreed?" I unbelievably asked.

He stared at me for seconds—like weighing my reaction—before nodding.

He'd never agree about that matter.

But...why would Ashvin lie?

"I don't want it," I whispered.

"I've already decided." He said with finality. Umiling na naman ako.

"Ayoko." I said with finality too.

"Don't be stubborn. Come with me because Westin's waiting." He said.

"Ayoko nga..." I heard my voice broke. It was painful.

"You don't have any choice." He said.

I gritted my teeth before bowing my head.

"Why?" I whispered. I guess to myself?

Hindi naman sya sumagot.

"I don't want to." I said again, determined.

"Then hurt yourself," he said before turning his back.

The fuck?

I unbelievably looked at his back and suddenly want to kill him.

I started looking for Westin because I want to hear it from his mouth. I can't believe this.

So who's the liar right now?

I think I spent half an hour waiting for him to come home. Where is he going anyway? He's always missing in action.

He was about to smile and wave when he saw me but when he saw my serious face, his mood changed.

"Is that true?" I asked coldly.

I laughed sarcastically and looked away.

"Wow," I commented before turning my back for the second time. But before I entered the house, he held my elbow gently.

"I'm sorry," he whispered that made me want to cry.

I was breathing heavily, I'm now walking to my room when I saw Eira.

But before I locked the door, she shouted.

"Ready for the night."

————

I locked myself in my room for the whole fucking day. I didn't go out to eat—no one even dared to knock on the door and ask me to eat with them.

It was midnight.

When I felt something on my throat.

I suddenly want to vomit.
