"They're both fine," I heard a familiar voice said but I still kept my eyes closed.

"Thank Gods." Freya's voice was the one that's visible.

I was just silent and listening when I remembered my child. Agad akong napabangon kaya naagaw ko ang atensyon nila. I can hear them asking if I was fine but i didn't answer any of them.

Tinanggal ko ang kumot sa katawan ko at napatingin sa tiyan ko. I don't care anymore if they'll connect the dots. I closed my eyes and tried to feel their heartbeats and breathe in relief when I felt it.

"Nagugutom ka ba, Sapphire?" Nagaalala nilang tanong kaya pinalibot ko ang mata sa buong kwarto. I saw some fruits on the table that made me stare at it for too long.

"I want an apple," I answered shortly, Belle nodded and get the apple for me since she's the one closer on the table.

Inabot nya yon kay Freya na nasa tabi ko, when she handed it to me—I just stared at it.

Kumunot ang noo nya, "Sigurado ka ba? Baka may iba ka pang gusto?" She asked. I shooked my head.

"I want an apple," I said.

"Apple naman yan ah?" Marius asked while pointing at the apple Freya's holding.

"A gold one," I added. Natahimik silang lahat ng ilang minuto bago ko narinig ang sabay sabay nilang pagmumura.

"Golden apple now?" Blade asked while grinning.

"What's with golds?!" Litong tanong ni Cloud. I remained my blank face as I stare at them.

"Tangina nyo, gawin nyo tong gold!" Sigaw ni Marius habang nakaturo pa din sa apple na hawak ni Freya.

"Gago pano yon?" I heard Cloud asked. Kinuha ni Marius ang apple kay Freya at binato kay Cloud.

"Gawin mo yang gold. Wag ka babalik dito hangga't hindi gold yan!" Banta nya dito na nagpaawang sa labi ni Cloud.

"H-huh? Paano—."

"Sapphire oh!" Marius went on my side and pointed at Cloud. Nanlaki ang mga mata nito ng makasalubong ang blanko kong mata. He immediately run outside that made them laughed. What's funny?

Nang ilang oras ang lumipas at nagising si Charmaine ay bumalik na kami sa bahay—but Cloud's still not coming back.

The moment we entered the place, I saw Ashvin immediately lay down on one of the couches like he's so tired.

Dumiretso na sila sa kung saan saan ngunit naiwan akong nakatayo sa gitna ng living room at nakatingin lang sa paligid.

"What are you doing?" I heard Haze coldly asked. I glance at him and he's also sitting on the couch where the boys are.

"I don't like the color of the house." I said.

Their brows furrowed and turned their whole attention on me now.

"Bakit?" Litong tanong ni Aidan at tumingin din sa buong sala. When he didn't find something wrong—the creased on his brows worsened.

"Change it," I commanded and started walking away.

"Anong kulay?" Marius asked confusedly.

"Gold." I answered that earned a lot of curses from them.

Umakyat na ako sa taas at dumiretso sa kwarto ko. I was pissed because of the color of it. I want it to be gold!

Kunot noo akong lumabas at nakabusangot na pumunta sa living room kung nasaan sila. Nakita ko doon ang ibang girls na nakapag bihis na at naghihintay nalang ng agahan. Ilang oras din kami sa pagamutan kanina.
