Chaper-8

Alec's POV

     After a while my mother came back to the kitchen sadly. "What happened?" My mother took a deep breath. "Your father won't be able to come to dinner. He's got things done at the office, he's going to spend the night at the office."

    I got off the kitchen counter and went to my mother and gently patted her back. "Come on honey, go to your room and I'll cook dinner and Izzy will be home soon." I nodded. I went near the stairs, my mouth started to work before my brain

    "Mom? Do you think dad will leave us? I know my father doesn't like me very much, but he won't leave you and Iz, will he?" My mother's eyes started to fill with tears.

    "Your father is a difficult person to understand, don't think about it honey, go to your room."

    I lay on my bed and start thinking about what my mother said. I really like Magnus and should I tell him that? I laid my head on the pillow and realized that something was bothering my head.

    I looked under my pillow 'that's right, my sketchbook was here'. I started flipping through the pages of my notebook. When I got to the page with Magnus' drawing, I looked at the drawing in front of me for a long time.

    "Why not?" I grabbed my phone and started texting Magnus.

               A: Hey

    As I was hanging up the phone, my mom's voice came from downstairs.

    "Alec, Izzy is here. Dinner's ready, come on sweetheart." I checked my phone for the last time, and Magnus didn't answer. I left my phone on my bed and went downstairs.

    "Hi big brother, I missed you." I gave Izzy a big hug. "Hey, I missed you too. How was your pajama party?" Izzy continued to hug me as she spoke, "It was beautiful, I had a lot of fun. How was your pajama party with Magnus?"

    I suddenly let go of Izzy. "How do you know Magnus is staying here?" Izzy gave a sullen smile, "I saw Magnus on the way home. He said he's stayed here."

    I started scratching the back of my head "Umm, did Magnus say something to you?" Izzy raised an eyebrow and looked at me.

    "Should he have said something?" Izzy and I sat at the dinner table and waited for Mom to arrive. "No, I was just wondering."

    "Alec, what happened?" I covered my face with my hands. "I don't want to talk about it, Izzy." Izzy grabbed my arm and pulled my hands away from my face.

    "You can talk to me about anything, you know that right?" I simply nodded and took a deep breath.

    "I did something embarrassing. Me and Magnus were watching a movie and fell asleep on the couch, and when I woke up in the morning I was lying on top of Magnus." Izzy made a sound of surprise,

    "That's not the bad part."

    "What's the bad part?" I covered my face with my hands again.

    "I had a wet dream about Magnus and moaned Magnus' name in my sleep"

    "Oh my god ALEC!!" I took a deep breath again "And Magnus heard me moan." Izzy started to laugh "Aww, poor thing "I rolled my eyes at Izzy "Stop laughing Iz, this is serious" Izzy tried to hide her laugh "okay okay, I shut up"

    However, my mother came and we had a very nice dinner together.  "Mom, tomorrow Jace is having a party at his house. Can I go too?" Mom looked at Izzy, "But it's Sunday, you have school the next day."

    Izzy started to pout. "Mom, please, everyone will be there. I promise I won't be too late." Mom let out a sharp breath and looked at me "If Alec comes with you I'll let you go." Izzy looked at me with puppy dog eyes "Alec, please?" I rolled my eyes.
"Okay, but we won't be up until too late."

    Izzy got up and ran to hug me. "Thank you, thank you. You are the best." I laughed and tried to avoid Izzy's hug.

    However, we helped my mother clean the dishes. When we were done in the kitchen, I went up to my room and lay on my bed.

    I started running my hands over my stomach. 'Magnus managed to get me to eat in two days,' I thought. I got out of bed and stood in front of the full-length mirror in my room. I took off my shirt and looked at my body.

    All I see are flaws. I ran my hands over my ribs. I opened my closet and took the scale from my closet and weighed. I have gained weight. My hands started shaking 'How did I gain so much weight?'

    I immediately ran to the bathroom, closed the door behind me, and stayed there for a while.

    When I was done, I went to the sink. I looked at my watery eyes in the mirror. "Everything will be fine, you can stop doing this when you reach the weight you want." I washed my face, brushed my teeth and tried to get rid of the vomit smell on me.

    When I was satisfied enough with my cleanliness, I went back to bed. It was almost ten o'clock, I got under my sheets and grabbed my phone. A huge smile formed on my face as soon as I picked up my phone. Magnus replied to my message.
