Chapter-11

Magnus' POV

     I stood in front of the full-length mirror in my room, wanting to take one last look at my appearance before leaving the house.

     Today I decided to make a little change, I wanted to look more shiny. I wore black leather pants and a purple v-neck long sleeve sweater. I styled my hair perfectly, I added purple glitter to the ends of my hair.

      I like to wear makeup when I go out, I don't wear makeup every day at school, just days when I'm feeling adventurous. But today I wanted to do a glittery make-up.

     I put gray glitter eyeshadow on my eyes. I gave my eyes a cat eye shape with my black eyeliner. When I was convinced that I had enough glitter on my face, I applied lip gloss to my lips.

     Lastly, I sprayed my neck and exposed collarbones with a glittery body spray. 'I'm really shining today.' I thought. After spraying my sandalwood scented perfume, I left the house completely satisfied with my appearance.

      When I got to Jace's house, I immediately looked for Alec. I looked at my watch 'He'll be here soon'
I thought. I got myself a glass of beer and went to Simon and Clary. "Hey guys! How are you?" Simon hugged me tight "Hey man, we're fine, how are you?"

    "I'm perfectly fine too." I gave them a big smile. "Where is Camille?" I guess Clary still doesn't know we broke up. "I don't know, we broke up."

     "What why?" Why was Simon so surprised that we broke up? "She cheated on me." Simon and Clary let out a sound of surprise. "This sucks man, how are you feeling?"

    "I'm fine really. Don't worry." Simon and Clary nodded with a small smile. "Look who's here." Simon pointed to the door and what I saw made my jaw drop. 

    "Damn" I muttered under my breath. I saw Alexander, the most beautiful man I've ever seen in my life. I couldn't take my eyes off Alec as Alec and Izzy came towards us.

     "Hey" I shyly greeted Alec "Hi, you look great." A tiny pink blush appeared on Alec's cheeks "Thank you, you look great too"

    "Guys, we're going to the side of the pool, would you like to come too?" I looked at Alec first, then said to Izzy, who said, "You go, we'll catch you later." However, Izzy, Simon and Clary left us alone.

     "Do you want something to drink?" Alec shyly nodded. "Beer?" "Yeah."

     After Alec and I were quiet for a while, Alec was the first to break the silence. "I like your makeup." Alec was looking very shy so I decided to tease him a little "Are you hitting on me, mister?"

     Alec lowered his head, how can one person be this cute? "Alexander?" Alec looks at me and I let out a small chuckle. "You're really cute when you're shy." Alec blushed even more at what I said.

       Me and Alec chatted for a while. It's really nice to spend time with Alec. Everything was going so well, I suddenly felt a hand on my shoulder. 

       I turned around and saw the last person I wanted to see tonight "Camille" Camille stared at me with her sly eyes. "Magnus, I know you still can't forget me, I've decided to give you another chance. If you spend the night with me, I'll give you back what you've been away from for days."

     Camille began to run her long nails across my chest. "Camille, what the fuck are you doing?" I quickly backed off, "Come on, Magnus, let me make up for what happened between us." I looked at Alec standing next to me, seeming really annoyed, and unexpectedly replied, "Fuck off Camille. Leave Magnus alone."

      Camille let out a devilish smile, "Aww, poor Lightwood boy, I'm what Magnus needs. What did you think? Magnus was going to jump into your lap when me and him broke up? What a pity." I could feel the source of the blood inside me, who is this talking to my Alexander like that? "Fuck off. What the fuck do you think you are talking to my Alexander like that?"

      "This isn't over, Magnus, you'll regret the things you said." However, Camille moved away from us.

      I immediately turned to Alec, "Alexander, are you okay?" Alec took the inhaler from his pocket, closed his eyes, took a deep breath, opened his eyes a few seconds later and smiled at me. "I'm fine."

     "I'm sorry for what Camille said." Alec had a mocking smile on his face. Why is he smiling? "Come on, I couldn't care less what Camille said. But on the other hand, I was more interested in what you said."

       I looked at Alec in surprise, "My Alexander? Really?" Oh my god did i say that out loud? I immediately composed myself and replied, “Ohh, shut up.” Alec laughed.

      Suddenly the fast music playing in the background slowed down. "Asleep by The Smiths" began playing. I looked at Alec and he was rocking along with the melody of the song

      "Alec, one of your favorite songs." Alec gave me a small smile, "Yeah, how do you know?"

      "One day you were painting during your lunch break in the art class. I came to you, I watched you behind your back, and you were humming this song." Alec's face started to turn red, and he lowered his head.

       I put my fingers under his chin and lift his head, taking a few steps away from Alec. I held my hand out to Alec to take it. "Dance with me." Alec looked at me with a red face at my offer,
   
     "I don't know how to dance." I took Alec's hand and dragged him to an empty space

     "Leave yourself to me."
