Chapter-30

Magnus' POV

     Me and Alexander entered Alec's room. I sat on Alec's bed and Alec came over and sat next to me. The door to the room was left open at Maryse's request. "So you're neighbors with Andrew now?"

    Alec was playing with my hair, "huh." I rested my head hard on Alec's hand, "I don't like it." I pouted my lip, Alexander placed a small kiss on my twisted lip.

    "Baby, don't be like that, Andrew just wants to be friends, he has no bad intentions."

    "I know, Alexander, I know. It's just that he's obviously flirting with you. I don't like when someone flirts with my boyfriend."

    Alexander came closer to me, wrapped his arms around my waist, and placed me on his lap. "Jealous much?" I started to move in Alec's lap "Alec what the hell are you doing?" Alec started to place feathery kisses on my neck. "What? Can't I kiss my boyfriend?"

    I take a deep breath, Alec holding me tightly in his lap and continuing to kiss my neck and collarbones, I can barely contain my moan. Alec kissed my sweet spot between my neck and shoulder. I couldn't help moaning, as soon as I realized the sound I was making, I covered my mouth with my hand and slipped off Alec's lap and sat next to him. I hid my head in Alec's neck. 'I wonder if Maryse and Emma heard my voice?' I thought and my face started to turn red.

    After a while, when I calmed down, I stuck my head out of Alec's neck Alec was looking at me with a mocking smile on his face. I playfully punched him in the shoulder and chest "I hate you." Alec grabbed my fisted hands and kissed my knuckles "No you don't." He then lay on the bed I lay my head on his shoulder and lay beside him. I sighed deeply, "No, I don't."

    Alec and I lay in bed for a while, not talking much, exploring each other's bodies with our fingertips. We shared soft kisses from time to time, and after a while, we drifted away from the quiet dream with Maryse's voice. "Boys, dinner is ready." Me and Alec got out of bed and just as we were about to leave the room, I froze at what I saw in Alec's window.

    "ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?"

    Alexander turned to me with puzzled eyes "What happened?!" Seeing Alec approaching the window, I grabbed his wrist and immediately we both squatted down together, "Magnus, what are you doing?! Have you lost your mind?!" Alexander was looking at me like I was crazy

    "It's him, his fucking room is facing whit your room." Alec was confused. "Baby what are you saying?! I can't follow." I whispered in Alec's ear, "Andrew's room overlooks your room. He was standing in the window, I can see him from here. He can see you too." Alec started to smile, "And why are you whispering?" Alec whispered back and finally started to laugh.

    "Hey, Ale-" While Alec and I were sitting on the floor in a whisper, Izzy walked into the room and was surprised to see us on the floor. "What are you doing on the floor? You know what? I really don't want to know what you're doing." Me and Alec looked at each other Alec kept laughing "Mom said dinner's ready and Andrew will be here any minute"

    Izzy's eye slid to the window "Hey, Andrew's room can be seen from here." Izzy ran to the window and opened it and started waving her arms "Heyy, Andreww" Me and Alec got up silently from the floor "Heyy Izzy, we have rooms opposite. Cool."
Izzy waved her arms in front of her as if to say no

    "No no this is Alec's room. Hurry up waiting for you."

    "I'll be there in a minute."

     Izzy and Andrew waved to each other, and Izzy closed the window and walked away. As soon as Izzy was away from the window, I ran to the window and drew the curtains that Alec normally left open. Alexander rolled his eyes at me, "So, Magnus, I see you're starting to get jealous." Izzy chuckled. I rolled my eyes, "Oh shut up." and the three of us went downstairs together.

    The three of us went downstairs, giggling, and just as we were seated at the table, the doorbell rang, "I'll get it." Izzy ran to the door. Andrew and Izzy walked in while Maryse was loading our plates. Andrew kissed his mother on the cheek and sat down next to Izzy.

    Alec was sitting next to me, opposite Izzy and Andrew. Marseye and Emma were seated at the two corners of the table. We all started to eat our dinner and Emma started the first conversation. "Well, kids, do you all go to the same school?" Andrew nodded. "Yes, we're all in the same school and I'm a grade younger than the rest, but Jace, Simon, Clary, Alec, and Magnus are all seniors." Izzy said,

    ''This is very good. What about those kids you spent today with? Are they seniors too?" Izzy turned to Andrew. "Who did you go out with?" Andrew swallowed his food.

    ''Imm.. Sebastian and Camille. And no, Camille is a year younger than us, but Sebastian is a senior too."

    Izzy's eyes widened, "Really?" Andrew nodded, "What happened? Do you know them?''

    ''Camille used to hang out with us. Right, Magnus?" I looked up from my plate and looked around. "What?" Izzy continued with a mocking smile, "Camille. She used to hang out with us, didn't she?" I just nodded. "Were you guys close friends?" Alec answered, which I didn't expect, "She's Magnus' ex-girlfriend." Maryse suddenly jumped into the conversation "Oh, that cheating girl." I heard Andrew chuckling. "Something funny?" Andrew shook his head.

    "No no, when you said 'I had a secret boyfriend' recently I just thought you are a g- ."

    "I'm Bi."

    The dining table fell silent. After a while it was Emma who broke the silence, "Magnus honey, where is your family?" My face fell. 'Why do they keep asking about my family?' I opened my mouth to answer, but suddenly Maryse spoke for me. "We are his family." Maryse reached out and stroked my cheek, a maternally loving look on her face.

    I felt my eyes fill with tears. "Magnus' mother died when he was younger. Magnus is like my second son. he always has a place in this family." I smiled at Maryse's beautiful words. "So Magnus and Alexander are like brothers?" Andrew had an evil smile on his face. "It's Alec... And no, Magnus is more like a son-in-law to me." Me and Alec started coughing, we almost choked from eating. We both blushed and Maryse turned to us and winked.

    The whole evening passed with small talk, after a while Andrew and his mother went to their house. Me, Alec, Izzy and Maryse were sitting in the living room. "Magnus honey, are you sure you don't want to stay here tonight?"

    "Thank you so much for everything but I'd better go home." I got up and went to the door Alec was following me "Alec sweetie will you just give me a second whit Magnus?" Alec said goodbye to me, kissed my cheek, and went inside. Me and Maryse were left alone at the door.

    "Magnus honey, I just want to thank you for everything. I'm not sure how Alec would have gotten through these few days without you."

    "It really doesn't matter, I like spending time with Alexander too." Maryse hugged me tightly and She placed a kiss on my cheek. "You can stay here whenever you want, Magnus. You never need to feel alone. I was serious about everything I said today. You are my son too."

    My heart melted with what Maryse said. "Thank you very much. You are like a mother to me too, thank you very much for giving me the warm happy family that I haven't had for a long time.''

    Maryse caressed my cheeks. "Always."
