*9 months later*
~Diego's POV~

I was pacing back and forth outside the cave me and Y/n shared, this was it this was the moment we've been waiting for. Y/n was in our cave right now and in labour, Ellie was with her but I was told to wait outside before the guys had found out and joined me.

"Diego, you need to calm down." Manny tried to tell me.

"Calm down. How am I supposed to calm down when Y/n is in there giving birth and I'm stood out here doing nothing." I tell them a little harshly.

"Diego, Ellie is in there and it's better to wait out here." I look at Manny and sigh, I didn't want to wait I wanted her pain to be gone.

"Diego, aren't you excited this is the moment you've been waiting for." Sid said while touching my shoulder.

"Of course I'm excited, Sid, I just wish she wasn't in pain." I give him a small smile.

"Diego I get it, I didn't want that for Ellie either." Manny tells me and we sit in silence for a bit, but I couldn't handle it anymore.

"Ugh! What's taking it so long." I growl in frustration.

"Diego children birth is a natural, beautiful thing that takes time." I roll my eyes and go back to pacing around, voicing the thoughts rushing through my heads.

"What if something terrible has happened? What if somethings wrong with the cub? What if somethings wrong with Y/n? What if... what if..." 

"Diego!" I hear the others yell at me and Manny points towards the cave.

"Diego, everything is fine, you can go in now." Ellie tells me and I gulp, this is it I'm gonna meet my cub. I slowly make my way into our cave, as I walked further in my eyes landed on a very tired tiger.

"Hey." I gently call.

"Hey, come meet your cubs." I stopped.

"Cubs?" I asked as I continued towards Y/n before laying at her side, she opened her arms revealing two small cubs. One boy and one girl.

"Yes, cubs." I looked at Y/n shocked.

"So that's why it took you so long." she chuckled at me.

"Yes Diego, that's what took me so long." I looked back down at our cubs with a happy smile then I looked back at Y/n, and nuzzled into her causing her to tiredly giggle before I kissed her cheek.

"They're beautiful, just like their mother." I smirked as Y/n blushed.

"So, what about names?" she asked me after a minute of silence. I thought hard about possible names, and had the perfect one for the boy.

"Well there is this one name that I have always loved and valued." I tell her.

"What is it?" she asked me.

"Ryker. It means strength." 

"Ryker... I love that name." Y/n looks down at the boy.

"Hey Ryker, it definitely suits him." I smile at her and she does back.

"What about the girl?" I ask, I watch as Y/n thinks before looking back at me.

"How about Sage?"

"Sage?" I question.

"Yes. It means wise, it was also my mothers name I believe." I watch her expression drop a little and we both look at the sleeping female cub.

"Sage... it's beautiful and perfect." we look at each other and smile before we hear a voice call from the entrance of the cave.
