I wonder why he wanted to talk, he looked so sad. I don't think they really went shopping, I mean who's sad after shopping? Oh wait he went shopping with Maddie that makes sense. Wow I should really stop acting so blunt. I sat next to Kian on his bed.
''She doesn't remember anything at all.'' He bit his lip and looked at the ground.
''Huh, what are you talking about?'' I was so confused, like I always say that I'm confused and I am most of the time but this time I was confused as fuck.
''My mom, she's in hospital.. we didn't go shopping we went to see her and.. eh.. she didn't remember me.''
I didn't know how to respond, I feel so bad for him..
''Oh.. why didn't you tell me?'' Wow Ella what a great question, not.
He sighed. ''You already have it bad enough, I.. I just don't know what do, what if she won't recover, what if she forgets everything, like how can I explain you moving in, she won't remember anything ever again.''
''She will, don't worry.. everything will be okay, I bet she has to stay in hospital for a while and when she comes back home she will remember you again, no one would forget about their own child trust me.'' I smiled and gave him a kiss on his cheek.
''Oh, so have you heard anything from your parents?'' He asked sarcastically, sigh.
''That's a different story..''
He bit his lip, he was hiding something, I could see it in his eyes, I raised my eyebrow because he obviously saw that I caught him.
''What?'' He said like he had no idea, he's such a bad liar.
''Tell the fucking truth.''
''There was a guy.. with my mom.''
''So?'' I didn't understand why he made such a big deal about it.
''Yeah uh it was eh basically eh uh it was your eh dad.''
''What why, don't tell me he was there because they are eh...''
''Dating, yes.''
W-h-a-t, oh god this is so gross, what about my mom, actually no I don't feel sorry for her, but ew what the actual fuck, that would mean I'm dating my half brother, no that's just wrong, why can't I just leave.. and go back to California.
And then I finally realized, that it's possible.
''Kian... if you could go back to California with me.. would you?''
He was kinda confused and shocked at the same time.
''That's impossible, what about school, what about your friends, what about money.''
''No one can stop us if we actually leave, we can do this if we really want to, I know I want to but I'm not sure how you're feeling about it.''
He looked at the ground. ''I said, what about your friends?
''Finn and Jack are leaving too.. and they aren't mad, they are just sad and I'm sad too, but we can't stay here.''
''Oh, well.. and where do we live then, I can't just tell my family about this, and you can't do that either.''
''We still have our old friends.. what about Sam?''
He nodded carefully ''Maybe it is possible.''
I smiled. ''Well why are we still here then.'' I said as I stood up but Kian grabbed my hand.
''You are amazing.'' He blushed.
''I know right?!'' I said jokingly even though I was melting inside.
I actually can't believe that I'm actually going back... back to California, hopefully..
