The two wedding planners reached the first block away from the park. Zelda hadn't said a word since they'd left.

They walked wordlessly down the sidewalk, while Zelda slowly tried calming down her racing heart.

This is an absolute disaster, I can't even look at him without me getting all flustered and-

"So how far away is this apartment of yours?" Link asked from behind. "I think I've been around these parts before."

Zelda blushed, and silently thanked Hylia that Link couldn't see her face.

"Oh, er- it's around here somewhere, the complex is just a few more blocks ahead." She explained.

More night air whistled by them, and Zelda couldn't help but shiver.

"Do you need my jacket again?" Link chuckled, recalling the events at the dinner they'd had together all that while ago.

"Oh no! I'm fine, I can manage. We're almost there anyways" Zelda replied.

Link didn't say anything in return but Zelda could feel his burning smile from behind her.

That smile of his

"Reminds me of that night." Link said.

"Yeah, it...kinda does." Zelda said back.

The memory hit Zelda again like a wave. The amazing dinner they'd had, the warm conversation, the feeling of his jacket over her shoulders.

"I can't believe they get married in a week..." Link thought aloud.

"It seems like it was only yesterday that we were in Purah's office And got assigned two months to plan a wedding."

Zelda felt something in her heart. It'd stopped its mad racing and now a different feeling had settled in, one of...sadness? But why? Paris and Marcus were getting married, and she'd get to plan so many more weddings. Yet something about not getting to work with or be close to Link all the time made her feel almost, heartbroken.

"Hey, uh, Zel?" "You've gotten quiet..." Link said, breaking her train of thought.

Zelda looked back and shook her head.
"Oh, sorry, I-I was just lost in thought-"

Zelda stopped when she saw the big brick apartment complex in front of them.

"Aha! There it is." Zelda said, smiling. She turned to Link.

"We're here."

Link and Zelda had made their way up the stairs and onto Zelda's floor, grabbing the keys from her purse, the blonde wedding planner slowly opened her door, weary of the pair of blue eyes watching her.

Soon enough, the door clicked open. Zelda turned to face her colleague, their eyes couldn't help but lock.

Zelda sighed.

"Well I guess this is goodnight." She chuckled, but Link wasn't smiling at her like he normally was, instead he was looking at her quizzically, fondly almost.

"Actually." Link asked. "I've never been to your place before...think I could stay a little while?"

Zelda nearly choked on air, but quickly composed herself.

"D-don't you have a cat to get home to?" She asked, her nerves coming back to her once again. This time, Link smiled.

"Nah, it's fine, trust me." "Cottla basically owns the house already." He chuckled.
