Wolves Part 2

Evangeline's POV

I knocked on the Green's door and was greeted by a surprised Mrs. Green.

"Eva, honey,what are you doing here?" She asked.

"Um...Gavin said I could stop by. It's totally okay if you don't want me here" I rambled while turning and walking off her porch. She chuckled.

"Eva, it's fine. I knew you were coming, it's just that I didn't expect you to come so early" she said and I nodded.

"Sorry Mrs. Green!" I said and she narrowed her eyes. "Sorry, Jennifer!" I said sheepishly once I realized my mistake.

She ushered me inside and I sat on the couch.

Where were the boys?

Jennifer sat next to me on the couch and gave me a warm smile.

"So Jennifer, where are your boys?" I asked.

"They're with their father, they'll be back soon" she said and I nodded. We sat in silence for a couple minutes until she broke it.

"Eva darling, would you like to see some pictures of the boys when they were younger?" She asked "And since the boys aren't here, I'll show you the one where Gabriel and Gavin are dressed like princesses!" She said excitedly. I laughed.

Who wouldn't want to see that?!

"Sure Jennifer! I would love to see your pictures" I said and looked out of the glass patio doors. My eyes widened when I saw the midnight black wolf from my dream running towards the house with two light grey wolves following it. I gasped and starting pointing at the window like a madwoman. Jennifer looked at me confusingly.

"Wolves" I said and she stood up. Suddenly she started pulling me our of the living room.

"Eva honey, let's move you into the den. This happens all the time" she said but I couldn't move. The wolf mesmerized me. Something was drawing me to it. Suddenly a huge dark wolf shot out in front of the black and light grey wolves. It barked and the black wolf growled. I was in a trance and if it wasn't for Jennifer pulling me back, I would have run outside and ran my fingers in its magnificent coat.

"Eva sweetie, come on. The boys should be back any minute now" she said and I reluctantly nodded my head.

Gabriel's POV

"I'm not going" I said to Gavin frustratingly.

"Why not?" He asked "She's you mate! You should do it!" He hissed.

"Exactly! She's my mate, that's why I shouldn't do it! Look at me!" I said while pointing to my under dressed body. "I can't have her looking at me like this!"

"Oh, so you prefer her looking at me like this?" He asked and I growled lowly. Of course I didn't want her looking at him like that. I didn't want her looking at anyone like that.

"Exactly, Now..." he started but my father cut him off.

"Boys, calm down. We're all going, your mother took Eva to the den" he said and I sighed in relief. I just wasn't ready to tell Eva what I am yet.

We all got dressed as quietly as we could and made it into the house. The twins were bouncing up and down at the prospect of seeing Eva again. I chuckled. They really did love her already.

"Honey, we're home!" Dad said and I chuckled. It's like we were in a I Love Lucy episode. Minus the wolves. A few seconds later, Mom and Eva came into the living room. The twins rushed forward and she giggled when my mother stopped them by the forehead.

"¡Oh, no lo haces no mis pequeños monstruos. Usted no recibirá Eva o mi casa sucia. Ahora sube las escaleras y llegar limpio" (Oh no you don't my little monsters. You will not get Eva or my house dirty. Now go upstairs and get clean) she said and they looked at me. I laughed.

"She said go get clean because she doesn't want Eva or her house dirty" I said and they groaned.

"But Mommy, we wanna play with Eva!" Greyson whined.

"I don't care, Eva will be here when you're done" she told them and then turned to my dad "Now clean them up". He groaned and she shot him a 'I dare you to disagree with me look' he grimaced and grabbed the twins hands. They went upstairs and then mom turned to us. She was about to tell us something when Grant started crying. She rubbed her temples and I volunteered to go get him.

"I'll do it mom" I said and she shook her head.

"No, it's okay sweetie. Stay here and enjoy Eva's company" she said and Eva blushed. I groaned inwardly. That blush would end up killing me one day.

"No it's okay Mom. I'll grab Grant real quick while you make sure the twins don't drown Dad" I said and she chuckled.

"Okay, if you don't mind sweetie" she said and I shook my head.

"I don't mind" I said and then turned to Eva "Do you?" I asked her and she shook her head.

"Nope, I love the little bugger" she said and we all smiled. I quickly made my way to Grant's room and collected him. He was fussing the whole way. I sat on the couch next to Eva and he immediately stopped crying. His big brown eyes stared up at her and he smiled. She cooed at him and took him right out of my hands. As soon as she did that, he started clapping and pulling her hair. She laughed and then started bouncing him on her knees. He squealed. We heard a giggle and saw my mom leaning against the door frame with my dad's arm wrapped around her waist.

"Well it looks like all my boys are quite smitten with you, Eva" mom said and she blushed. Grant then grabbed her cheeks and started making funny faces with them.

Suddenly we heard rumbling on the stairs. The twins appeared in front of her like 2 awaiting puppies. She giggled.

"Hi boys!" She said and they giggled before giving her kisses on her face. She giggled harder.

"Hi Eva! You wanna play with us!" Garrett asked excitedly. She nodded her head and handed me Grant. As soon as she did, he started crying like crazy. I looked at my mom in panic. He was generally a good baby. He rarely cried and when he did, mom would always calm him down. She took him away from me but he wouldn't stop crying. I looked at Eva and she went to my mom.

"May I?" She asked and Mom held out a fussy Grant to Eva. As soon as she touched him, he quieted down and played with her hair. Everyone laughed and mom grumbled.

"My babies are leaving me for other women?!" She cried dramatically. Dad laughed and then kissed her head.

"You'll never lose me baby" he said and Gavin gagged. Dad thumped him on the head and he whined.

"Mom, your husband hit me!" He said and she laughed.

"You deserved it" she said and I laughed. "Now all of you, go get ready for dinner"

Evangeline's POV

The Green's and I ate dinner, played broad games, and laughed the entire night. Since it was time to leave, Gabriel walked me to my car. When I was about to get in my car, he stopped me.

"Um...Eva...Can I ask you a question?" He said while looking at his shoes.

"Sure"I said, suddenly nervous.

"Will you..." he coughed and cleared his throat "Will you go on a date with me?" He asked and his whole face was red. I blushed and decided to give him a honest answer.

"Gabriel I..." I started
