Eva's POV"How you doing Honey?" Mom asked from somewhere in the room while Casey was putting the final touches on my make-up.
"I'm okay just a little nervous" I responded. That was a total understatement. The butterflies in my stomach were fluttering non-stop and I felt like I was going to pass out.
"That's expected. When I married your father, I passed out twice from the nerves" she said with a laugh. Gabriel's Mom, Aunt, Casey and I giggled.
"I couldn't stop crying on my Wedding Day" Gabriel's mother said in a dreamy sigh "I couldn't even walk down the aisle. Anthony had to find me and calm me down before carrying me down the aisle" she said and everyone squealed.
"That's so cute!" My mom said and Mrs. Green laughed.
"It might seem cute now, but back then it was the worst"
"But was it worth it?" I asked and she smiled gently at me.
"It was worth this life and the next"she said and there was a knock on my door. Mr. Green and Kaden stuck their heads inside and smiled at us.
"Well, well, well. I haven't seen these many pretty women in one room in such a long time" Mr. Green said and everyone blushed.
Mrs. Green slapped his chest before kissing his cheek and shooing everyone out of my room. Only my mother, Kaden, and the Green's stayed with me.
"Is it time?" I asked. My heart was pounding and nerves were taking over.
"Almost," Kaden said "Uncle Tony just came to see how you're doing and escort Aunt Jen and your Mom to their seats"
Mr. Green came up to me and hugged me before pulling something out of his jacket pocket. Mrs. Green stepped up and opened it before grabbing my wrist gently. She place a beautiful bracelet on my wrist, one that matched the necklace my father gave me on my 18th birthday, identically.
I gasped, tears filling my eyes.
"What?" I choked "How did you..."
"We know your father couldn't be here Eva, and for that we are truly sorry. We wanted to give you something to always remember that not only is he with you but so are we" Mr. Green said as Mrs. Green fastened the bracelet. I hugged and thanked them for everything they have done for me. Mom stepped forward and handed me a neatly wrapped present.
I opened it and gasped again.
"Mom..." I started but she shushed me "Don't start Eva. This is something I wanted you to have from me. You can't have a matching necklace and bracelet without a pair of matching earrings"
I hugged her and thanked her for everything.
"Now if you'll excuse us" Mr. Green said "I think it's time to take these lovely women to their seats. The show is starting in a couple of minutes"
They hugged me one last time before leaving my room.
Kaden came up and gave me a tissue.
"You're gonna ruin your make-up before the ceremony even starts" he said and I laughed.
"I think it's a little late for that" I said "How's Gabriel doing?"
"He's going nuts. This is the longest time he's been away from you and he keeps pacing up and down. Gavin even threatened to strap him to his chair if he didn't stop" I laughed.
