Disaster Date Part 2

Gabriel's POV

My wolf snarled before lunging at the other wolf. He backed away but not before I managed to bite down on his front leg. He snarled and tried to pry me off but I only managed to bite down harder. I heard him whimper before he ripped his leg out of my grasp. When I went to lunge at him again, he was already running back into the forest.

When I looked at Evangeline, her body was shaking and tears were falling from her eyes. I trotted to the trunk of my car and changed into my human form. I opened up my trunk and looked through my gym bag. Eva was looking at me with wide eyes. I found gym shorts and a shirt and quickly changed into them while making my way to the driver's side.

I opened the door and started the car.

Eva started screaming.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING! TAKE ME HOME! OH GOD, PLEASE DON'T KILL ME!" She pleaded while crying her eyes out. My head snapped to her so quick, that it looked like it might snapped. How could she think I would ever harm her? Let alone kill her?

"Eva, calm down" I said and she shook her head hard.

"CALM DOWN? YOU WANT ME TO CALM DOWN WHEN YOU TURNED INTO A FREAKING WEREWOLF? A FREAKING MYTHICAL CREATURE!" She shrieked and I cringed. "OH MY GOD! I WENT ON A DATE WITH A WOLF!"

"Eva, calm down or else you're going to get sick" I said and she hiccuped.

"YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO TELL ME WHAT TO DO WOLF BOY! TAKE ME HOME BEFORE I CALL THE COPS ON YOU!" She screamed. My wolf began whimpering because of his mate's harsh words. I had to remind him that she was new to this and didn't mean anything by it.

I pulled up to my house and got out of the car. When I turned around, Eva still sat in the car with her arms crossed over her chest and glaring at me. I sighed and tried to pull open the passenger door. Every time I would click the unlock bottom, she would lock the door immediately.

"Eva, please unlock this door and come inside" I asked her. She shot me a 'Why the Hell would I do that' look. "Please?" I asked her nicely and she shook her head.

"Eva!" I said why raising my voice a little. She glared at me.

"Gabriel, if that is your real name" she said "if you raise your voice at me one more time, I'll skin you alive with my bare hands and use your fur as my new jacket, Wolfie" she hissed and I gulped slightly. I have to admit though, she looked beautiful even when threatening my life.

"What is going on out here?" My mother yelled from the front door. "Gabriel? Why is Eva in the car glaring at you? Better yet? Why is she crying?" She asked while glaring at me. I huffed and ran a hand through my messy blonde hair.

"Because she found out about our secret" I said and both Eva and my mom gasped.

"You told her?" My mom said at the exact time Eva said "she's one too?" I started shaking my head at both questions when my father and brothers came outside. I heard a little shriek and watched as Eva started sobbing again. She pointed at each of us before passing out. I quickly made my way over to her and unlocked the doors. I gently put my hands under her knees and behind her back before lifting her out of the car.

My parents were looking at her with concern and the twins were crying. Gavin opened the front door wider before running up the stairs and opening my bedroom door. I gently laid Eva on my bed before tucking my blankets around her. I closed my door gently before running down the stairs to come face to face with 5 pairs of worried eyes and a crying baby Grant.

"Okay, will someone please tell me what's going on?" Gavin asked trying to comfort a sobbing Garrett and Greyson. I ran a hand through my hair for the hundredth time.

"I don't know! One minute I'm having the time of my life with my mate and the next, a wolf comes running out of the forest and stopped right in front of us"

"Maybe it was a regular wolf just passing through at the wrong time?" Gavin interrupted and I shook my head.

"No, it was definitely a werewolf. It checked Eva out and completely ignored me" I said while clenching my fists. "My wolf went crazy and snarled at it before I gave Eva my car keys and pushed her to my car. She got in and the wolf was just about to attack me when I transformed into my wolf. We fought and I'm pretty sure I broke its leg before he ran back into the forest" I said and sat down before putting my head in my hands. I felt my mother's small hands rubbing my back. I leaned my head on her shoulder and a stray tear fell down my face.

"No sé qué hacer mamá. Ella me odia ahora" I said. (I don't know what to do mama. She hates me now)

"Ella no te odia bebé. Ella es sólo miedo y el dolor. No te preocupes, todo va a pasar a mejor. Prometo." She said. (She doesn't hate you baby. She's just scared and hurt. Don't worry, everything will happen for the better. I promise)

I sighed and nodded my head.

Hopefully, she'll learn to love me like my mom did for my dad.
